Happy to listen to all ideas. The reason for having 3 keepers was so to keep the bad teams interested year after year. Otherwise it becomes very difficult for the bad teams to get better. And once that happens the interest probably starts to wane and all of a sudden you're left with 2 or 3 teams not really trying so much anymore. I mean, even the good teams may lose a bit of interest as players aren't changing hands so often and the whole thing gets a bit stale. Once you go over 5+ keepers it becomes more of a dynasty league than a keeper league. An idea I had was to have 3 keepers plus 1 prospect. The idea being the prospect has to have played less than 2 seasons. So yeah, start thinking of ideas and we'll talk them over in the off-season.
that prospect thing sounds good! After his 3rd season, you can only keep him as a regular player? One reason why I'd like to see more keepers is because that way, the guys that spend tons of money for only 3 players aren't privileged that much while those who chose a more balanced approach were slightly punished for having done so.
Trash Talk? Bball jay, Wart are AWOL. The champ is gasping for air. I'm surprised Linwood found his bookmark link to PF.com after disappearing into the Seattle fog. The Advanced League is even worse though. I know Motown doesn't have it going on this year because he's been quieter than a mouse. The best league for interaction is Novice and the best league for trash talk is Hockey. Hopefully y'all games in the playoffs are as weak as the smack, so I can coast to the first of many Keeper titles.
You guys are only on page 19 of this thread? - I think that we're in the 60s in Novice. ...I read the Advanced thread if I'm having trouble sleeping. ...and the Hockey thread is essentially 'Woody against the World' (which is a pretty fun read if you like jokes about the elderly).

My teams are not very good this year. My advanced team is average. My Keeper team is horrible. I really don't know what to do with it. I think I am going to take a different approach next season.
Houston, we have a problem. One way or another, I have to face one of the two teams that beat me this season. It's a shame my season was so mind blowingly dominating, and if I had wanted to tank for a better matchup, would have needed to lose 4 weeks in a row. If I can get by the two headed monster that is Max/Ralphi, then I think it will be a cruise to the finish line.

Webz, thanks for fixing up the league front page. Bogut has really come on, and now I can't see how he isn't a keeper/franchise player. The Aussies must be quite proud of him.
