Anyone interested in joining the Keeper league (this year or next) - please send me a PM. There may be one more opportunity for a rescue bid for this season.

I'm assuming that the other franchise that you're considering for a rescue mission is Will Bynum's 3-Pointers.

    ...wow.

Looking at that roster, I'd much rather take over that team. There are actually some players on that squad that you can build a team around. Those guys are a decent PG away from being contenders.

Actually, his free time is limited, and I heard that he is interested in joining our baseball league instead. :cautious::eyebrows::lie:

My baseball viewing ended when that ball rolled through Billy Buckner's legs.

I'd take his roster over the mess that I inherited.
Whoever was running this train wreck before me actually had Elton Brand as a keeper.
I'd rather have Elton JOHN as a keeper than that aging stiff.

Willie-B's 3-Pointers have Kevin Durant! Give me K-D and 14 waiver wire guys and I'll find a way to coach 'em up to a playoff spot. I've been sandbagging in Novice for too long! I've finally figured this Fantasy hoops stuff out.

The Denver Squirrels have been 10 days ahead of all those idiot fantasy columnists all year long.
...Ryan Anderson, ...Jeremy Lin, ...Paul George, ...Spencer Hawes (when he was bawlin), ...Jeff Teague (when he was bawlin), Jared Dudley (when he was bawlin) ...I'm the RAIN MAN of virtual NBA! I picked up Chris Kaman a few days ago and he went from lounging on his couch to throwing down double-doubles for the Denver freaking Squirrels. I'm a GM'n machine!

They should print out my drop & add list from Novice League and frame it on the Yahoo fantasy page! I should have my own weekly live web-chat where chumps can post crap like "Hey BDL, do you think I should I be in the lineup this week? - Goran Dragic". ...of course I'd type back: "Dude! Quit your league and smash your laptop! Take up bowling or get a girlfriend!"

    Anyway.
...I'd also like to point out the fact that Webz decided to re-assign my franchise AFTER he had one last matchup against 'em. How do the rest of you guys feel about that? He's padding his win totals against a team that hasn't had its lineup set since the late 70s (...that's cool Webzie, I'd have done the same thing mate! :thumb:)

    GO Malcontents!

You don't need to keep the Malcontents moniker.

You're exactly what this league needed and I am sure your roster will be fine.

    :blah:

FYI - He didn't choose his keepers so he was assigned the 3 highest ranked players from the year before. Believe it or not, Brand was a top 50 player last year.

Wart notified me that he hasn't been able to keep on top of his team like wanted and has offered up his spot. That's a very honorable thing to do - thanks Wart. I think DBA would make a fine addition to league in his place.

I think the most fair method would be to dissolve both teams at the end of the season, throw all their players back into the FA pool, and have the two new GM's pick their keepers from scratch (this is actually part of the rules I created!).
    http://games.espn.go.com/fba/tools/viewmessage?leagueId=12076&typeId=0&topicId=0&messageId=3

This would mean BDL and DBA would simply be care-taking GM's for the rest of the season. They wouldn't get to retain their current roster. Would everyone be ok with that?

I'm down. They get to pick keepers from the available list then later we go to draft right?

    Yep.

    1. All the current GM's pick their keepers
    2. All non-keepers plus all of the dissolved teams players go back in the FA pool
    3. The new GM's pick their 4 keepers in their own personal snake draft
    4. Once all GM's have their 4 keepers, the full draft takes place

Can you translate that to a tweet, CV style? I'm losing interest in your franchise...

I'm totally down with the idea of re-drafing keepers Webz!
I appreciate the extra effort on your part to make this happen (and I'm sure that DBA does too).
In the meantime, I'll do everything that I can to ensure that the Malcontents are competitive as possible for the remainder of the season so it's fun for you guys.

I'd be willing to trade you Rodney Stuckey as long as you promise to sign him to a 4-year deal

Unfortunately, Tweets Villanueva has taken the weekend off as Head of New Media and Public Relations for the Six Hard Fouls. Charlie is giving his thumbs a much needed rest as he attends the 2012 NBA Allstar Games. Charlie will be competing in Home Depot Stiff as a Board Stars of Planking competition on Sunday. We've asked him to check in on Kevin Love at the 3 point shootout, and DeMarcus Cousins in the Rising Stars competition if his rigorous rigor mortis training schedule allows.

DBA has been assigned ownership of Wart's team.

We're still open for expansion for another 2 new teams which would bring the league to 12, so any other interested parties let me know before the end of the season preferably.
