I'm glad I didn't have to face Rascoe or Webz this week. Their teams put up some crazy numbers. This is the week the injuries finally caught up to my team.

WebZ's team should be tested for steroids this week.

Might I ask why you feel this way CJ?
(...I don't deny your accusation one bit BTW.)

Is CJ even in this league?
I can't really talk trash on him as his last place team handed my first place team one of its' only losses of the season last week in Novice league(5-4).

BTW, in my first real week of managing the Malcontents, I have them winning their matchup. We're doing this while looking ahead on the schedule to next week's match-up against Sandwich.

This team will not be an easy 'W' for any opponent from here on out. We're playing for draft position!

I'll be seeing you in the PFNFBL playoffs!
    ...nevermind.

(Keeper is weekly, or in your case "weakly".)

Gonna keep the name through the end of the season to avoid confusion and maximize merchandise sales.
The Denver Squirrels will be joining the league and the Detroit Malcontents will be disbanded. Rumor has it that the Ilitch family is putting together some kind of offer to keep the team in Detroit but it ain't gonna happen.

The Mals are playing inspired ball right now and it's pretty clear that the changes in the front office have done this team some good. We're wreckin' shop all over the Bandits this week and can't be stopped.

We're going to KILL Sandwich next week.

Beware late season injuries. Your squad is awesome, but two men down is as average as anyone.

Injuries are difficult... also, this team really relies on Kobe for leadership, and when he is ballhoggin', it's hard to get the other guys involved.

And here I was thinking it was hopeless. Can I play the m'waves every week?

It might also get a little easier now that I figured out how to see per game stats rather than totals.

Props to the Banditos for edging out the Mal's last week.
Detroit had some problems overcoming injuries to our starting C & SF. We've corrected the situation by releasing one of the cowards players in question and benching the other one. Hopfully the message gets delivered to the other guys on the squad. We're trying to create a winning culture in Detroit that will be effectively transported to Denver next year when the team moves.

    Next up, "Sad"wich.
...should be an easy week for the Mals and an opprtunity to work on some things and improve our execution for the losers bracket playoffs. I doubt any of our players will even bother to tie their shoes for this one. It's really a shame that we even have to bother playing the M-waves. A lot of our guys have asked for the week off but league rules require us to field an active roster of 9 guys.

    ...whatever.

Stop whining BDL. I had to spend time to set a line up for the microweaves last week (what is that anyway? some kind of hair replacement thing?) and it interfered with my massage appointment.

P.S. I just dropped Darko. Might be a good fit for you.

Big move from Ralphie, giving up on Curry. He was a keeper so looks like he'll be looking elsewhere for next season.
