w00t, I pulled it out. 2 weeks in a row baby!

I didn't realize Lin is coming on so strong. Must be all the refried beans from Taco Bus.

    • My team played very well last week, even with Kobe sucking it up due to his finger injury.
    • I have no idea why I have these bullets. Oh, just figured it out.
    • I'm gonna get killed this week though, as Webs has about 8 more games than I do. Hopefully, I hit the playoffs and make a good run.
Considering trading the Stat-stuffing Steve Nash for a very strong rebounder/shotblocker. Hit me up if you have any ideas.

    4 extra games...

And my team has a habit of getting injured on a Tuesday so I never get the full allotment. I need some 7-2 or 6-3 victories to get back in the hunt, but it's not happening.

Hopefully the Marc Gasol acquisition can help me out. I had 4 PG's and was getting stung in the TO's and big man cats.

I have lots of turnovers, but am killing on the assists right now. Hopefully, Kobe heals his damn finger and returns to form.

I don't think there is any way I can overcome that 4 game d-3 ifference unless you suffer some injuries. Not that I don't want you in the hunt, but a 6-3 defeat will drop me way back in the pack.

I need 28 points and perfect FT shooting from Deron Williams and I can take both cats which would give me a 6-3 win. Winning just 1 would mean 5-4. Neither is unfathomable...

Agonising. 4 points and .0063 short.

With only 8 weeks left, my season is in trouble.

My team is horrible. The injury bug has hit me again this season. :stirthepot:

Why is Danny Granger on your bench?

If there is one team the Microwaves don't want to meet in the playoffs, it is the Ralphoids. The only team to beat me this season, and they beat me twice.

A better week from Horford would have given me the win, but competition with TwoTimes is something that keeps me afraid and awake at night.

I need to watch playoff seedings. Once I get a first round bye locked up, I might need to rest my starters down the stretch so I don't see Ralphi in the postseason.

:nono::nono::nono: If there is one thing I learned in fantasy sports it's don't over think stuff.

I almost blew a fantasy championship by trading a couple of players for a couple who played more games in the playoff weeks.

If your team is lucky and very good (or the best) you will win it all. But trying to make it so that you play a particular guy...not good.

I've had several championship teams but no matter how good my team was there was always a team that kicked my butt. I think it's just luck. If I were you I would merely HOPE not to play Ralphie but don't do anything proactive to make it happen. You'll probably inadvertantly do more harm than good.

Speaking of blow, I'm sure Rascoe will blow the lead that he currently holds in the Keeper League. There are 5 teams less than 10 games behind him. With 6 weeks remaining, Rascoe still has to play 4 of these top teams (including the Sabertooths, a team that beat Rascoe earlier in the season although he chose to ignore that fact in his recent post).

Have you noticed that you and I are about the only people on this forum that spell Rascoe correctly. I mean, it seems kind of disrespectful to me that the rest of the members can't even get his name right even though he owns this place. It's up to you and I Bill to make sure he gets the respect and deference he deserves.

    All Hail Rascoe!! :hail:

I think it's about time that we resurrect the "Rascoe appreciation thread"...

I agree. Without Rascoe, there would be no forum.

I was going to stop calling him Rascoe, but he said one time in chat that it really bugged him when people call him that. Once I heard that, I only call him "Rascoe".

Still number 1. Don't remember Max beating me, I'm sure he did though. Some folks have my #.

I am consistently good enough to lose 5-4 some weeks depending on who I play.

Not much chirping these days. Probably because it is a league full of dodo birds.

Haven't got much to chirp about! If Kenyon Martin didn't miss 2 games I might have had you this week.

In other news, the trade deadline is just around the corner. Last chance for a deal!
