I forgot I was playing you this week. I would have set my lineup differently. With Dwayne Wade and Baron Davis hurt, you'll probably beat me 8-1.
With Bogut playing 5 games, and putting up 20+ pts and rebounds and 5 blocks, you would have had to field the holy trinity to keep up. Is anyone still pumped up about fantasy sports? There is a serious trash talk deficit on this forum.
I know, it's been a little quiet. If I had something to talk smack about I would, but my current record does not allow me... :dizzy2: Trust me, I can't picture my life without fantasy. :nerd2:
I am the defending champion in Keeper League. Until my team is dethroned, I have the #1 team. Rascoe is just a pretender for the time being....
Championships aren't won in February....you remember that...I'm not sure why...but, just remember that...
I was winning this league the minute that I lost in the Finals 5-4 to Lamebrains last season. I was the come from behind kid, figured out the scoring and roster system, as well as the player quality sorting around mid-season in the inaugural year, and then managed to draft the best team in the league around my 3 Keepers (Horford, Aldridge and LBJ). I have been in first place for weeks now, and beat every team in the league except the Ralphis. I have so many great players on my team, I intend to lobby to have 5 keepers for next year's draft, so that this dynasty can keep on rolling. I mean, it is almost criminal that I was able to drop and add Lee back, while scooping Scola, Rondo and Bogut. So downright criminal, Tim Donaghy has me on speed dial and Jammertime claims me as one of his relatives from Montreal. At the risk of jinxing an absolute annihilation of all playoff opponents, you are all playing for second place. The Microwaves are hot and getting hotter. Of the top 6 teams (above .500) I win 5 of 9 categories on the season.
Roscoe Microwaves - the Cleveland Cavaliers of the Keeper league! In all seriousness, if anyone has any suggestions for rule changes fire away. All suggestions will be considered during the off-season and put to a poll.
I took another look at the standings, and I take back what I said. I think you have to have at least a 10-game lead over second place to really be able to brag about dominating the league. Check out our Novice league standings, for instance. No seriously, check it out.....
I'll think about it, but I attribute a lot of my success to luck. This was my first time in a fantasy league of this format.
Everyone in Keeper has 3+ seasons experience in fantasy basketball. This is a tough crowd to compete in. For example, I have beat the #2 twice, but he has run over most teams in this league with his 3 point attack. wrt to my team, I have 4 guys averaging double doubles in the last week, all under age 28, and none named Lebron James. It is going to be darn hard to choose keepers.
You're the "Flip Saunders" of the PFNFBL. You'll get rolled in the playoffs by my mighty Denver Squirrels who are have "the tank" on cruise control to stay in the 8th spot so we can bum-rush you in the 1st round. Congrats on your impending "regular season championship"!
I strongly support the idea of having 5+ keepers. 3 is too little to speculate on up coming MVP's since you're only able to keep the certain perennial all stars.
