Because of all the recent scandals in PF.com fantasy sports leagues, the forum put out a directive to find an honest, fair, and dedicated commissioner who actually has some morals and integrity. Since no forum members fit that description, I have been appointed as the PF.com Fantasy Baseball 2008 commissioner. Last year, we had a head-to-head league consisting of 10 managers. The competition was fierce, but somehow Darth:winner_first_h4h:, Webz, and Roscoe ended up at the top of the standings when the dust settled. Their was a 13-year-old kid competing in his first fantasy sports league. I'm sure he must have just been lucky to beat the likes of Gazoo, Woody, and Jammer. Right now, I'm looking for managers. If you're interested in joining our league, please post below. It isn't as time-consuming as you might think. Plus, it should be a great time.
Okay, we're off to a good start. So far, we've got: 1. BillLaimbeer 2. Basketballers (now a 14-year-old kid) 3. Roscoe 4. Jammer 5. Darth 6. Round 7. Bezeach Darth: We need Jammer....just in case my entire team becomes injured, I still won't finish last.
Oh...Bill, I forgot to tell you. Jammer pm'd me and said to take his name off the list. He said he had to get his hair done, or something. Roscoe also said he is iffy. He thinks he may have a date lined up this summer. I'm not certain whether the two withdrawls are connected?
I'll play. I need to improve my showing from last season anyway. Besides, Tater asked me to play. When the champ asks you to jump, you ask, "How high?"
Bill, please put me on the alternate GM list. If you get 10, I will be happy to be the first stand by if someone drops out.
1. BillLaimbeer 2. Basketballers (now a 14-year-old kid) 3. Jammer 4. Darth 5. Round 6. Bezeach 7. Ggazoo 8. Mikhail Stand-by alternate guy: Roscoe Is 10 teams a good number for baseball? Slots are filling up fast. Must be the new commissioner...
Ohhh....I was wondering why you usually end up in tenth place...although you must like the numbers 11 and 12 a whole lot too.
put me in as a reluctant yes. i don't follow baseball that much, so i've never joined a league. if you get 10 who truly want to play, give them a spot over me.
Welcome. We are like the Hotel California. "You can check out any time you like...but you can never leave". Muah ha ha.
