Well, at least I knew when I posted this that I wasn't going to get any sympathy from you guys! :pound:

Anyhow, good news for me. Looks like it's just a mild ankle sprain so he shouldn't miss too much time. :)

well thats good wouldn't want to lose to you with you not having a full lineup....

on the serious side... long time folks with a one week lineup how long do you ride a guy thru a slump before benching them? and i don't mean cutting just benching... that 2nd baseman of mine just can't see a beach ball right now i bet.

I've picked up where I've left off with a 1-7-4 start in the first week. I enjoy being so consisent. Glad I took Miguel Cabrera with my first pick. The guy is batting .100.

He'll get better, by the end of the season he should be at least around .200. :pound:

Tough question to give a good answer to. You've really got to weigh a lot of factors. Is someone else on your bench on a hot streak? What's his potential? Stuff like that. It's a judgment call...

    Great news Darth!

Of course, I already send the flowers, box of Kleenex and sympathy card out in the mail. To late to cancel, so you should get those in a day or two.

Darth Tater Translation: Tough choice. Should I give him honest advice or mess with him?

you'd think he'd have given me a solid answer.... me being a rookie here and the fact were playing this week so its going to be awhile before his advice would effect him...

He must be a really insecure person that is afraid of us all :stirthepot:

This was funny. I was going to offer up the strategy that I use, then I started second-guessing myself wondering whether I wanted to give it up or not.... :pound:

LOL. I actually did start typing out some advice, but those things can go either way and I didn't want it to blow up on you.

Just because I keep refusing :crossed: to hop in the tub with you doesn't mean that I don't bathe.

Besides... those little ice pellets that shoot out of your Cannuckian shower head really hurt. :cold:

common darth get that cg shutout and a couple stolen bases. I really want to be the first person ever trying and still get shut out 12-0. omg i thought i had atleast a half way decent team but nobody can hit a lick or throw the ball in the red sea.

Hey, I'm doing my best. Remember, I'm only playing with about 2/3 of a lineup! You may gain more ground tonight. You outnumber me plus I may be down even more with injuries.

My best baserunnrs are hurt so I went from 10 stolen bases last week to nada so far. My pitcher had a shutout last night but was pulled after 8 innings:yellowprison:.

Whatever you do, just hang in there and keep a positive attitude. This is new to you. Keep trying and learning and don't give up.

If you want to pm me I can tell you how I generally do things as far as dumping guys or I can try to answer a specific question on a move you may be considering. I'll do my best to give you some pointers, but just remember that I'm guessing too.

Sure. I'm always willing to try to help people. Just remember that in the end, it's only advice and that the team owner makes the final decision...for better or worse.

just trying to give you a hard time... i used to be good at this when i had no life.... dang graduated and got married and stopped watching 20 hours of sports a day.... this weekly change is new though, i'm used to setting a lineup every day... so learning the balance is new.

having a load of red sox seems to be hurting just now, all the powers in the american league are losing... so i assume things will balance out just hope its not to late.
