Darth is really helpful like that. When Alex Rodriguez started out slowly, Darth sent me a PM and offered to take him off my hands.

One time when I asked Darth for help, he sent me a message, "Buzz off and stop wasting my time." He forgot to put the smiley face with his message, but I knew he was joking. What a comedian.

More injuries. Lost a guy last night to a hamstring and looks like one today too. This is crazy! I feel like Slippy.

Looks like I still did ok, anyhow, because Round also got some key injuries.

    Roscoe, prepare to battle! :lightsabersmiley:

The only thing that kept me in battle against his team this week was my pitching. My team has some little nagging injuries also, but better than the DL injuries that can last for months.

Yeah, I can use some pitching against him next week.

Hey, I got stat tracker as always. The Yahoo freebies ended tonight.

If ANYONE (except Jammer) wants to know their own or anyone else's ERA, standing, totals, ANYTHING, feel free to pm me as much as you like and I'll check it out for you. I won't even charge you 3 pennies a day, like Bill does. I mean, deducting it from his own kids allowance is a bit much...especially when the kid only earns 35 cents per week!! This offer extends from now until the end of the season (or until your team beats mine in a given week...then forget it!!!) Seriously though, feel free to take me up on it. I always enjoy talking fantasy ball (with everyone but Jammer) and won't mind in the least bit.

Can you tell me my future? I would really like to know if I am going to be able to afford my wife in about 20 years...

Glad I decided to bench Renteria and Cabrera this week. They only went 4 for 8 last night. :yellowprison:

and i thank you.... polanco saw the bench for me.... and actually got a hit... lol not as much a lose for me so far, but i asumed the min i benched him he'd start hitting.

On the brighter side looks like my faith in an old timer Ace from my Fantasy teams of 10 years ago still has a bit left in the tank... Johnson was great last night.

Fantasy baseball sure is fun. It's my favorite.

Injuries. Just lost a great pitcher for the year (Gallardo). I think I got a good replacement, but ouch.
My #1 pick (Rollins) has been out for weeks. My hottest hitter (batting .500) is dealing with his 2nd injury this year and has only played ten days. Somehow, I'm standing toe to toe with the big boys so far, but I don't know how much longer my luck will hold out.

I wish I hadn't had the last (tenth) pick. My favorite player, Chase Utley, dropped all the way to 9th and then the computer picked him for Wart. :mmph:
The guy is an absolute monster this year.

Yea, if you were lucky (or some people say corrupt) like me, you could have drafted #1 and had ARod on your team sitting on the Disabled List.

Wow, I read your first sentence I thought to myself "Holy crap, Darth is actually posting a message in the fantasy baseball thread that doesn't involve him crying about injuries."

    Then I kept reading....

I had Gallardo in another league that I'm in (and never cried about losing him by the way). :stirthepot:

Wow, Tates, you're like the Little Engine That Could. Except, in this case, you're the Little Fantasy Baseball Player That Could.

Here's my image of Tates as a fantasy participant: Tates has a room in his house devoted to elaborate charts and forecasts of all players in each sport. He has employed a part-time assistant (unpaid intern from Boise State University) to keep these things organized from midnight to 7 a.m. (while Tates sleeps). The assistant wakes Tates up as soon as Yahoo! has posted the new results, whatever time that is. Coffee and donuts are provided for each morning's "standings unveiling." Tates sometimes keeps a digital audio recorder with him during the unveiling to record his thoughts. He listens to them later. Tates also keeps a notebook by the bed in case he thinks of a different lineup configuration during the middle of the night or a possible trade scenario. Which reminds me, Tates has never asked for any of my players in a trade.

My point is this, fellas, Tates is back in first! We need to step up our games! :pound:

Anyone need an outfielder? I've got 6 pretty good ones. I need a 2B or a SS. Make me an offer.
