Hey ex-forum guide, I didn't say I was one of those people with a life. Because I know I am a shoo-in for the total loser of a lifetime award. :(
It's ok to get off topic in this thread as long as you are insulting Rocoe. It's not ok to support him in any way, however.
You're a winner in my books 'Scoe. Just don't take away my Darko Expert button! I agree. There are already several Roscoe appreciation/love threads around. This isn't one of them.
You guys are seriously corrupting my fantasy baseball thread. Please discuss your drafting strategies.
I may not be playing but I can always give out advice. (To those who are willing to pay). ie. Selected number 1 fantasy player with 6th pick last season. ho hum...
i already discussed my strategy!! i know very little about baseball and i'll be in FL that day, so i'm going to trust Yahoo to draft for me lol
The auto-draft strategy has worked well before. There certainly have been many fantasy managers who have out-thunk themselves to death.
I plan to be there for sure, but I don't know whether or not I'll just let the computer pick for me on some rounds. It seems to me that computer picked teams usually do well. I enjoy the draft. It's a lot of fun. I'm hoping to get a mid to mid-late pick (4 to 8, I guess). Congratulations in advance for getting the number one pick, Mr. Commissioner.
With the first pick of the 2008 Fantasy Baseball Draft, Laim's Lethal Lineup selects Brandon Inge of the Detroit Tigers. Shortly after the draft, I'm going to add fielding as one of the categories, with ESPN Web Gems, of course, being worth 3X the normal point value.
I just found out that I have a meeting for work at 5 pm EDT on Sunday, March 9 (draft day). Would anyone have an objection to moving the draft time from 4 pm to 2 pm? Thanks. The Commish
It works fine for me, but I would like to object based solely on principle...I'm not sure which principle, but I'm sure I'll come up with one shortly.
Well ok, yeah...but Bill did spend half his school life in the principal's office. I mean...is this our Bill or not???
Well Buddah, I mean Bill...I got lots of photo's of you. Many your wife would be very...uhmmm...interested in seeing. For a small fee, I'll be happy to send them to you. If not, I'll be happy to post them for ALL to see.
You better quit spending so much time admiring my photos and more time on managing your fantasy hockey team. At least you'll be free from that next week when the playoffs start.
