Just be thankful you were playing woody. if you were playing roscoe or I you would have lost 9-1. roscoe is the man on the move though. 10-0 is impressive.
You weren't in our hockey league. Roscoe's team was not too good the first three or so months and then for like two months straight he was absolutely destroying everyone in his path. I think he took over first place or was close. Then, a couple weeks before the playoffs he went back to his old mediocre habits. Sound familiar? Yep. He'll fizzle out again in baseball. No worries.
I checked stat tracker after the games last night and I was shocked to see ROSCOE in 2nd place. I checked with the stat tracker people to see if the system was broken and they said they had already checked it. They said they are familiar with Roscoe's account history and also figured the system must be totally messed up, but unfortunately the system is correct. Bill, I can understand him beating up on your dogs, but now he has passed your little kid and you as well! I would imagine you didn't go to work today. You must be very embarrassed by the whole matter. I'm hoping nobody draws attention to this:attention and after a couple of games this morning you can pass him again. Let's try to keep it on the QT and maybe nobody else will notice.
Its incredibly close between 2nd-7th, so if you have a good week (or a bad one) your position will change quite a bit. But the week isn't over yet so wait till the dust settles my friend.
Wooo hooo! It's about time Roscoe was talking some smack!! Bring it on Sandwich man, bring it on! The Phillies eagerly await your presence. Muaa ha haaaa!
The front-runner has a combined 22-21 record vs. Gazoo's Steroid Users and Woody's Wonders. That stinks. I expect to pick up my 100 L this week. But that isn't nearly as bad as the Phillies picking up their 10,000th loss in franchise history recently. Freakin' pathetic. I guess that's what you get for putting your faith in Gene Mauch and Mitch Williams. From wikipedia: Mauch came tantalizingly close to the World Series in 1964. His Phillies had a record of 90-60, a 6½ game lead in the National League with 12 games left to play, and were starting a 7-game home stand. Mauch decided to start his two pitching aces, Jim Bunning and Chris Short, in 7 of the last 10 games, 6 of those starts on 2 days rest (all of which they lost). The Phillies faded, losing 10 games in a row before winning their last 2 games) to finish one game behind the St. Louis Cardinals in a collapse infamously known as the "Phold."
Yep. That's too true Gazooster. I noticed that. But even so, my overall record of 102-54 against everyone in the league is Phantastic! It's a good thing I won't have to worry about seeing you and Woodrowski in the playoffs...unless I look up into the spectator stands!
You can't keep Tater sharp gazoo, no matter how formidable your skills. He's duller than an Idaho Potato and his smack is more like a pat on the bum. I hope you and Woody are able to rise in the rankings, because I plan to send the DT Philly Wannabees to the basement post haste.
Roscoe, I know you are really excited and pumped that not only did you thoroughly dominate Bill Laimbeer's puppys, but that now you are crushing his 13 year old son 9-1 in our pf league... However, I'm not going worry about your team until they get within 20 games of my boys. I mean, we are all impressed with your accomplishments and everything...but, you know...like...you know... It's potato baseball time!!!!
Wanted: One good relief pitcher Offering: One good starter...either Don Haren, Tim Lincecum, or John Maine... (depending on the quality of the offer) PM me if interested. Bite me if not interested.
Well...on my way to work last Sunday morning there was a fantasy baseball show on the radio and they were talking about injuries at one point. I was thinking how fortunate I had been to stay healthy. Sure enough later that day I lost Hunter Pence (NL rookie of the year leading candidate), and All Star SS Hanley Ramirez. Today my top draft choice Chase Utley went down. I think all three were top ten Yahoo players. Now, I'm not complaining mind you. I'm not even worried about the regular season too much. My team is deep, I have a nice lead on second place and can afford some relatively bad weeks. Everyone has had to deal with their share of injuries. But come playoff time if I can't get at least a couple of those guys back, the Taters will indeed have their work cut out for them. So bad news for me is very good news for the rest of you cats.
We sure do. And we were thinking since we have two in the State we should send one to Canada so you all have one too!
Wow, Baseballers really wants Brad Penny from me. He's proposed at least four different trades. Gotta keep the few good players I have.
Thanks for the butt kicking gazoooooooO! I was getting too close to Darth. Could almost smell his potato breath!
I hope somebody slices him up in the playoffs. Otherwise, we gotta listen to him gloat for the next 6 months.
