Many...Many years ago, we played the Bears in an exhibition game. it was considered a bloodbath by some accounts. Injuries, dirty play, and all around nonsense was the order of the day. The NFL, upon review of the situation declared that the Lions and Bears were to NEVER play a preseason game again.

Hey guys, I've been on vacation, no internet, how did I stand it? Did have Directtv nfl tictket tho, so I did not miss a game. This season is FUN! I did not expect it. I am lovin me some Michael Vick and I was never real hot on him to say the least. He is SO much faster than last year, you can really see it. And he seems more comfortable in the pocket and looking to pass first now instead of run. He is exciting no doubt about it. You just never know with him, he makes you stay glued to the screen. This week is going to be THE game of the week. Redskins and Eagles are always a tough game. Donovan I hope gets a nice intro, no booing please, then we go on to kick some Deadskin butt. I can't wait!
Darth, I'm glad you had a good time at your game. I have a chance to go to the Philly Redskin game in Nov, but not sure yet if I'm going. I would LOVE to have tickets for this week-end wouldnt you?
Giants are imploding, that's always good to see. I was so hoping Dallas would lose to the Texans , what the hell happened there?
Redskins news in this area, they know they suck, their message boards seem like they really like Donovan, but are pretty sure he will leave after one season and head to Minn. Donovan saying all the politically correct comments about going back to Philllythis week, but you know he's gotta be wanting it so bad, something would be seriously wrong with him if he didn't.

I hope you win your bet. Order the grand slam.
The only reason I may not go to the game in Nov is it's a Monday night, freezing cold in Nov and I have to be at work the next morning. Yuck. I would MUCH rather be going to the game this Sunday.......

McNabb will get booed in Philly simply cause Vick was voted the NFC offensive player of the month, and because McNabb said they would probably cheer him.

OK, just a smattering of boos I guess wouldn't be too bad, I guess you can't ask for much more than that in Philly.

They booed Santa Claus and pelted him with snowballs.:cold:

But I still say the majority of people enthusiastically applaud him and maybe give him a standing ovation. :)

Does Vegas have a line on it???

    Poll done at Philly.com

Will you cheer or boo Donovan McNabb when he returns to Philly on Sunday?

    Cheer 2878 (80.9%)

    Boo 679 (19.1%)

    Total votes = 3557

What kind of welcome will you extend to Donovan McNabb upon his return to Lincoln Financial Field as a Washington Redskin? Will you give him a standing ovation and cheer? Will you simply applaud the former Eagles quarterback for his 11 years of service? Or will you jump up and boo the guy? Or will you just sit on your hands? Coach Andy Reid said that he had no idea what kind of reception McNabb will get Sunday when the Eagles host the Redskins. "Listen, I don't know," Reid said Monday at his day-after-game news conference at the NovaCare Complex. "I don't know that. ... He is a Redskin and they don't get the best acceptance at the stadium there." Someone asked if Reid would get emotional in seeing McNabb in a Redskins jersey at the Linc. (Note to out-of-town questioner: Reid doesn't do emotion). "There is not time for that," Reid said. "I have a lot of things I need to take care of." Reid may not be aware of the stadium atmosphere on game days, but he expects the Linc to be raucous. "It will be a little crazy," Reid said. "It's always crazy when the NFC East teams come here, so

I have a feeling Rush Limbaugh will be in the 19.1%.

Eagles were terrible. The entire team.

McCoy did well but that costly fumble negated a lot of the good. They got exactly what they deserved by trading McNabb.

We still could have won if Avant (ex-U of M guy) hadn't dropped the final pass in the end zone.

Kolb sux and it looks like we maybe lost Vick. We went from a possible Super Bowl contender to a .500 team.

    Ouch.

The only good thing was the standing ovation McNabb received. He didn't play well, but his team won.

Yes we absolutely sucked big time....No other way to say it. The game I was so looking forward to turned out to be a big loser game, boring and Vick getting hurt bad, defense sucks balls, Kolb can't even play, clock mangagement horrible, ref had it in for us, the whole freakin thing was a clusterf... and that's putting it mildly.

And he got the team ball and said that the Eagles made a mistake trading him the post game lockeroom celebration...

Impressive opening drive for the 49ers...7 1/2 minutes and a TD. Good to see McCoy out there looking sharp early.

The crowd boos every time they hand off to Gore. What's up with that? The guy has definitely lost a step.

I think they booed because they thought the 49ers were too conservative by handing off on 3rd and 14.
