I am not sure whether or not I am looking forward to this years draft. In the past you could never predict what the Eagles were going to do. That is because they would make crackhead Matt Millen choices. I don't know what Andy Reid was doing. I'm not sure he did either. Chip Kelly is an unknown so in a way we don't know what he will do either. Nobody knows what the Eagles are doing so far. I don't know how much say the general manager has but I don't trust him either. It's debatable how much influence he had on Drafts. He seems like a weasel but that maybe has nothing to do with whom he picks.

The Eagles need a lot of things. At the top of their list is the offense of line and the secondary. It's almost certain they will draft Luke Joeckel If he remains to be picked. If not perhaps they will pick another offensive Lineman From Central Michigan. He may be there still. Or they may go after Cornerback Dee Milner. If not the Lions will probably snatch that guy up with next pick.

Anyhow, the Eagles will probably address those two needs in the first two rounds. But there is a quarterback who would fit their needs to. They could take him in the second round. But they already have five guys Who will compete for the position. Foles does not fit what they are trying to do, I think. The Chiefs are interested in him but the Eagles are saying he is not available. I think they are lying In trying to up the price for him.

Supposedly they could get a third round pick at worst for him. It should be fun. It's too bad they could not get Russell Wilson like they wanted last year. They just missed him. I really hope they are not forced to go with vick.

Rogers cromartie is a free agent too. Do you think it was just circumstance that made them suck? Perhaps. The were both pro bowlers before coming to Philly.

The announcers were laughing their arses off over how wide open his men were this season.

What killed me is all the Sirius88 announcers were saying he could get $20M per cause he was in the right place at the right time ! I blogged here he wouldn't get $13M per.

It seems like teams would be foolish to pay him much. Perhaps they think that it was the Eagles defensive scheme that didnt fit his talents. Or that he was sand bagging. I don't think either because the Eagles would have kept him if they thought he was worth anything because they will adjust their schemes with the new regime. I also don't believe he was a sand bagging malcontent. By all accounts he was a good guy and they spoke highly of his character when parting ways. So I believe he gave it his all and just sucks now. It was ludicrous how open he left opponents. I don't think the Lions want him.maybe they could sign him with no guarantees.

Good stuff. Thanks Jeremy. That is indeed encouraging.

Now lets get back to serious and important stuff like making fun of Laimbeer in that other thread. I think we are finally getting under his skin. He's starting to get really irritable.

I did a forum search and the term "termite" has never been posted until now. Perhaps TFD was dreaming about termites and he mistakenly attributed it to the forum?

The termites that I've run into kinda like to nibble on wood.
So I guess they have a woodsy breath thing going on.

A better insult would be bison breath.
Once one was walking next to me as I was rolling along in the Jeep at Yellowstone.
I rolled down the window, and he turned and started breathing on me.
Kinda like smelling a well turned compost pile.
