For short, will we call it CAPF.com or PFCA.com?
Are you okay sir?
We'd lose all respect around detroit and the greater Michigan area !
You can sing PFCA to the tune of YMCA. :-) Not sure how the hand signals work.
Eagles draft #4. Right before the Leos. I'm hoping one of those offensive guards. (Joeckel or the kid from Central Michigan are there. Maybe a mobile quarterback like E.J. Manuel. I don't want them to reach for Geno in the first round. I also hope they don't take the guy with the heart issue or that cornerback. I wouldn't mind if Kelly took the kid who played for him on Oregon to help out the defense. Who do you guys want the Lions to get? An offensive guard wouldn't hurt them either but I'm fairly certain the top two will be gone. There is another kid who is really good too but maybe a slight reach.
If you replace the word guard with the word tackle, your post would make more sense.
You knew what I meant, Methuselah. My Eagles meet your guys at home late in the season. Seems like they've played each other a lot these last few years. Probably because we are both cellar dwellers, although this year our entire divisions clash. The NFL Scheduling is nicely done, IMO. Each year any given team plays everyone in their own division twice. That's 6 games. You play one entire division in your conference once every three years. That's 4 more for a total of 10. You play one entire division in the opposite conference once every 4 years for a total of 14. Then parity kicks in for your final two games as each team in your division plays one more team from your own conference other than a division you already played and one from a team in the opposite conference. You play a team that finished in the same place in their division as you play in yours. That's 16 games. Yes, I figured this out by myself without peeking at the solution. So the Eagles and Lions automatically play each other at least once every 3 years since same conference different divisions. They would meet once every 3 years automatically, Plus also play each other every other year they both ended up in the same place. So this year we meet because this year our divisions meet, but we possibly would have met anyhow because we were the cellar dwellers in our respective divisions. That is scheduling 101. Now the way they decide venue is... ;-)
snore, ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz snore
*Inserts ear plugs* Ohhhhh....kaaaaaay, then why dont YOU guys find something to talk about.....apparently, MY attempts are lacking....
I've been waiting for the coach to finish developing his team and message. I really don't know what to think of the Eagles right now. I was just surprised that you would post scheduling tips in the Eagles thread. Most of my posts this year have been about what others think........
I've no idea what you're getting at. But anyhow, those weren't "tips". I merely pointed out how I believe the NFLmakes their schedule. I often wondered. I'm looking at maybe 7-9 this year. Hopefully they are heading in the right direction.
I don't know what I want the Eagles to do. Jordan, Joekel, Fishet? I don't care if they move down but it may be a reach going for Smith at quarterback. I'm hoping they take Manuel in the 2nd or move down and take him later in the 1st. If they don't trade down I'm hearing a lot about that Nose Tackle Loutitootiebalootie or something, LOL. I'm good with that if they are certain his heart is healthy. Otherwise Jordan who played last year at Oregon for Chip Kelly if he is there is fine. Or going OT is of course be a strong option. I will be disappointed if they take Milliner the CB. Or one of those DE's.
I don't know what the Eagles are up to. They know Vick is done. And the way Reid mailed it in... what was he thinking ? And the way they ruined that secondary...
I think Chip Kelly will be a stabilizing influence in the war room and overall. I feel like the Eagles have a chance to do good things now. Yeah, Cromartie and Asomougha were total jokes. It goes beyond words how terrible they were. They were supposed to be studs. i think they fooled a lot of other people too. They would have been better off keeping Asante and Quinton Mikel (safety) short term. I think they will address some of those needs in rounds 3-7.

Drafting Lane Johnson was certainly a smart move. He'll provide protection for Vick and help to bring order to the offense. The Lions pick was more of a risk-reward type of choice. It'll be interesting to see which has the better year. Interesting how the first Big Ten player wasn't chosen until the 30th pick. That hasn't happened in almost 60 years. No RBs in the first round either........Eagles should go after LaVeon Bell. Also the Central player was the first non QB taken with the first overall pick.........in 40 years. The last was Ed "Too Tall" Jones........out of Middle Tennessee State. Remember him.....
