I deserve whatever comes my way. The Eagles did this with Andy Reid a couple years ago. They drafted a 26 year old fireman in the first round (Danny Watkins) a total bust.. He was older and bigger so of course he pushed around kids in college. He was bigger than those them so naturally he looked good pushing them around. But in the NFL he played other full grown men and got beat up by the defensive line. I'm thoroughly disgusted and embarrassed. it couldn't have gone worse. They have a terrible secondary. Now they have nobody to cover Desean and Beckham. I'm in... shock like the rest of Eagle nation. I was scared they would draft Marquise Lee but this is much worse. I was so excited for this draft. Now I'm done with it and won't even watch the later rounds.:hanged2::crying:

You'll watch because your a fan. I'm sure everything will work out fine this season.
If my prediction later doesn't reflect these thoughts, then I was just trying to pick up your spirits.

No. Sorry. I phrased the first sentence wrong as if was a response to you. It was a separate thought. I absolutely felt that way and worse. I just meant I deserve crap for their stupidity.

Most people on the radio were every bit as upset as I was. It was my first thought upon awakening. No. I will get over it and will check results but I can't watch this. I will be ready well before the first game. It just sucks.

At least theLions got a really good player at least even though their selection was curious I guess. The Eagles did the same thing with a Tight End last year in the second round and he is supposed to be pretty good too. I think he will be but I guess that should be no consolation to Detroit after what the Eagles did yesterday.

They traded back from 22 to 26 because all six guys they wanted were gone. I'm pretty sure they included Kyle Fuller, ha ha, Beckham, and the saints jumped up to grab cooks. So they grab some guy who was supposed to go in the third or fourth round. Late second at best. They were enamored with his 14 1/2 sacks against the other essentially high school caliber teams in their league. Even if that affects came in bunches so it was likely a really crappy player opposite him on a particular team. They could've had Denard if they didn't trade down.

yeah your GM was like every other GM so greedy for talent they were telling 10 different guys they would pick them with that one pick. Straight up draft sluts.

    I like the

I like the Eagle owner a lot but to be honest I think the General Manager is a weasel. I don't exactly like that but I'm fine with it as long as he is a competent weasel.

People have got down from the ledge after that last pick but I think they will be lucky if he is serviceable in 2 years. He's probably not even an every down played which should be expected from a first rounder. Plus a first rounded is expected to help immediately. I think this guy has bust written all over him but what do I know?

    Jordan Matthews...Interesting 2nd round pick.
he definitely had the gaudy numbers to be considered higher...so why didn't he rate better?
    His lack of explosiveness......................
Matthews struggles to create separation down field and does not have the ability to outrun most cornerbacks.
While he is one of the safer picks in the entire draft, his ceiling isn’t extremely high.

I'm not happy with this safe pick. I think NFL players will have his lunch.

We will see how it works in chips offense. I'm iffy on this. Cost them a 4th rd. to move up.

    Josh Huff...Interesting 3rd round pick.
Good yardage numbers after the catch.
    He's athletic and physical but...
    He's only 5'11" and 200 pounds.
    Again...not very fast...possibly becoming a slot receiver.
No leaping ability...cannot go up and get em kind of guy
He may be considered to be a Wes Welker type.
Adverse upbringing and lingering baggage requiring monitoring/mentoring.
    I considered him a 5th round pick.

Kelly obviously doesn't care too much about where someone is supposed to go. He just drafts then where he wants. He likes guys who can punt pass and kick. Jack of all trades... I'm pretty sure that offense will be sick next year. He's happy to win 59-58. It is what it is.

They're still trying to get rid of the other dead weight they got from that school. Nobody wanted any part of him.

New England took him...they seem to have luck with lower draft picks from Michigan.

I would give the Eagles a D+. I thought their 2nd round pick was pretty good. A couple of later picks ok. But the really positive thing was Chip showing major confidence in Foles by passing on Manziel.

Lions needed to pass on Manziel as well.
    Lions grade wasn't much better.
It's been interesting to see the grades over the years.
Lions seem to get pretty good grades overall.
    Still the team sucks.

    I remember when I said RGIII wasn't worth a 1st round pick.
I still think he wasn't. He may prove me wrong this season.

I was surprised that owner in Dallas passed on Manziel.
