Decent showing by our rooks in game 1, now that there feet are wet...... we get down to business and I am curious how they play on the road. Rookies have a history of playing well at home and rocky on the road. If were going to show much improvement as a team this year were going to need them to play well both home and away...

So I'm looking at how the rookies play from a mental standpoint this game, and want to see how stuckey bounces back.

The 10pm start time games can be rough. I'll catch the first half and then leave it to Dre to provide the recap.

I wonder if anyone still videotapes the games and watches them in slow-motion 4 or 5 times while working out....

Remember, Maggette won't be in the lineup.

I think the Pistons can win this one if the coach doesn't play Jerebko at the four.

We are going to look good in this game and Drummond will look promising too.

I'll admit that I watch a lot of the games in fast motion now, by hitting the 30 second forward button every time it gets boring.

Welcome to my Sunday Lions experience. I only spend 1 hour on a Lions game.

Beasley is so dumb, he just fell for a tay pump fayke. First one in over 3 seasons to do so (according to 82games.com).

Stuckey 0-3 in the first Q. Continuing his Kobe-like run to greatness..

Thankfully, Bynum and Knight are playing well.

Yeah, chat is down. Not sure what's happening.

We had a nice little spurt by Andre back there, so that was pretty cool.

Monroe just looks slow and turrible. I don't know, maybe I'm being overly harsh.

Maxiell and Monroe do not make a particularly offensively dynamic frontcourt.

Monroe looking like poo. He needs to develop a mid range J. There's 3 guys collapsing everytime because we have no shooters. Maybe for all the time BenGo dribbled off his foot, the D had to play him honest there is way less room to work under the basket this season

Monroe has looked slow and unsure so far this preseason and now 2 season games. Max played with fire and thats how he should play 4-5 minute spurts all out. Andre seemed to be hesitant right up til he made a play then his natural flow just took off and he was not thinking just playing. Coach really needs to start earning a paycheque. We need BK with English and singler or jj and Dre with max or GM at the power.

22-7 run by the Suns since about the seven minute mark of the second qtr....No D, no O....Monroe has not learned how to dunk yet and is throwing up garbage prayers around the rim hoping that they will fall. If Max can dunk, to get his points, Monroe has to add that to his game when under the rim.

Stuckey still stuck on Wednesday missing shots....

I thought this was going to be a Piston road win as they looked good to open the second with the 11 point lead and then kerplunk.....come on boys I want to smile and cheer before I go to bed tonight...and that means a Piston win and a Laker loss.
