As good as mine...
Home teams are getting NO respect from the players at the PICKS.
Cardinals have 34%...against the Falcons
Chargers have 16%...against the Colts
Vikings have 23%......against the Eagles
Dolphins have 39%....against the Ravens
People are heavily betting on the away teams.
Looks good for Tater.
Doesn't look good for NEMO...
I am still taking all home teams........
You would think home teams would win at least 50% of the games.
The Las Vegas odds have all of these games as basically coin tosses (3 point spread or less).
remember rushing and run defense !!!
everything else is crap shoot.
My tip for the week - Go to San Diego and see the cheerleaders. Wowzer.
webz, I'm not much into gridiron anymore, but it is so neat to see you taken with it. It is a very interesting sport. And then of course, there are also the cheerleaders...
Yeah, my bro and I have gotten into a bit and we always get funny looks when we go throwing the football in the park. Most people in Australia get hung up on 1 or 2 sports such as Aussie Rules Football and Rugby and don't understand NFL at all, or why we even like it. It's almost like they think we are traitors! The amount of passing remarks we get such as 'wrong sport fellas' irritates me a bit because I like a lot of sports. So, whatever to them...
We only have 5 Free to air channels in Australia, but since digital TV has come in, one of the 5 channels shows 2 or 3 NFL games per week on their HD channel which is good. I'm watching SD-Indy right now. I got into NFL while I was traveling through the US and living in Canada in '07 and chose the Steelers as my team back then because I liked their 'Going to work' attitude and defense (which is similar to the Pistons ethic of not so long ago).
It was a similar experience for me in NZ. I knew nothing about rugby or cricket, and football made me an outsider.
Thankfully basketball gave me an opportunity to play sports.

Anyway I've got all home teams for this next weekend.
Titans and Ravens will feature HITTING.
Kmart died and then there was 2...
A ton of people went 2-2 this weekend. The top 8 players for the season all went 2-2. I think all Pistonforum members went 2-2.
I'll be taking two home teams and two away teams.
The only guy left in survivor with Tater went 4-0.
He won picks in 2006.
I've got Giants & Chargers left.
He has those plus the Eagles.
Eagles play at Giants.
Chargers at Pittsburgh.
Eagles are hot and I doubt the Giants repeat.
So I haven't seen the spread, but if Tomlinson & Gates play I am going with the Bolts for the upset.
I'd wait to see if Big Ben will play. But even if he doesn't I think Leftwich can manage a win. Rivers is due for a meltdown and what better place than Pittsburg against the Steeler D? Check the weather Sat morning...if it's cold & crappy (a good possibility) I don't think the Bolts have a chance. Don't advertise your pick until then.
I'd go with the Giants...but whado I know? I suggested picking the Vikes
LOL, my friend kept raving how hot they were.
Thing is...if we both pick the Giants this week, no matter what happens...it ends up a tie in the end. (Because they would eliminate the Eagles and we both would have the Chargers left at best).
Like I said, IMO Chargers have little chance...I doubt he picks them. Eagles/Giants could go either way. I know you'd rather win it outright, but a tie wouldn't be all that bad either.
I re-thought my wait-and-see strategy. Since you have fewer options, I'd pick the Giants right now and put the onus of a tie on him.
Too late...I see he just picked Giants
They are the best pick according to the oddsmakers.
I will have to decide if I want the tie or whether I should risk it all...
We have very good teams at home now. Only a fluke will beat them.
