I've decided to go with the team that IMO has the best chance of winning. I'm not sure the Giants will knock off the Eagles. In fact, if I had the Eagles I would probably pick them. But I don't, and that leaves the Chargers who are banged up and going against the "Steel Curtain".

So, I have to go with the Giants. :(

So unless D.J. changes his pick, we will be "co-champs".

I really wanted to represent the forum with the win, but Nemo got it in the first half for us so I think a tie for first in the second part (after 12 or so weeks and some really good competition) is not so bad...especially as we will win the group picks :)

    A tie is like [strike]kissing your sister.[/strike]
A tie is like [strike]entering playoffs with Flip coaching.[/strike]
A tie is like [strike]having Hermann as your backup 3.[/strike]

If I were you, I'd go for the win. Take the Bolts. I've picked them for this week.
    Remember...No guts, no glory.
A tie is like [strike]getting 10 playoff wins in the postseason.[/strike]

I took all home teams last week, and have two away teams this week.
I'm going for the INDIVIDUAL award now. Cannot get it unless I buck the trends.
    No guts...No Glory.

I agree Nemo. Besides, it wouldn't be the first (nor the last) time that Darth flames out.

Tomlinson may not even play guys and even WITH him the Chargers are underdogs by like 5 or so points.

If I go with the Bolts, my chances are slim and none. No use going Kamikaze.

I agree...take the tie. Roscoe won't think any less of you than he already does :D

Besides...who knows? djzielin could switch to the Eagles to avoid the tie...they have a far better shot at winning than the Bolts.

Sproles has had 220 rushing yards the last two games. He had 338 all-purpose yards (rushing, recieving, return- yardage) against the Colts :eyebrows:. That is 2nd all-time for a playoff game.. He's the hot hand right now. Also, I would take Rivers over Rothlisberger now. Big Ben will manage the game. Rivers will play to WIN. 5 points margin is given for the Home Game. On a neutral field, it's an even match. Your logic is sound, if you want to play it safe. :bored:

    Not me.

    Ravens, Cardinals, Eagles and Steelers.

Except in Survivor where I took the Giants since I can't take the Eagles.

I am very happy that they Giants lost. Giants fans are the worst in professional sports. It is a good day to be a non-Giants fan, I am going to have a wonderful time at work tomorrow. My family is not very happy but so what. No one wants to eat dinner. Okay with me. Now if the steelers lose I might just have to make another thanksgiving dinner.
