Let's see it! Come on, Mercury, just give your prediction right now. With the editing feature available on Microwave's cool forum, you can simply change your prediction whenever you want. I plan to edit my prediction after every game.
10 minute edit window Bill. That's on purpose so that people can't "revise" their bold statements. Accountability is a female dog.
genius I didn't know about the 10-minute edit window. That's a stroke of genius. I take back all of those bad things that lee356.5 said about you!
i thought it was only 5 minutes? Thats what it said when I tried to edit a word I misspelled badly, and I thought you guys wouldn't understand.
Getting waaaaaaaay off topic here, so here is the last word on editing. I'm on forums all day. Many of them have edit deadlines. I personally like that. You have to be accountable with what you post otherwise you end up with people flip flopping and the ensuing posts may be quoting or referencing text that was removed, breaking the continuity of the discussion. With the edit-time window and the preview post option when you "Go Advanced", it's a substantial upgrade over the system at the old place. It was originally 5 minutes. Merc didn't like that so we bumped it to 10. That gives you ten minutes to change or delete your post. I told Merc it was on a trial basis, and it seems to work well so we are staying at 10 minutes. If you don't think you can edit your post fast enough, copy it, delete it, and repost. Don't stress too much over nitpicking grammatical or spelling errors. Most of us can figure out what you mean. Now back to the preseason player predictions......... -
Prediction I can see Arroyo, Darko, and Delfino doing good along with Maxiell. Arroyo does good on the pick&roll whicb Flip uses a lot. Darko because he's been good LB just didn't play him. Delfino did great last preseason, but after he got injured he couldn't get back into the rotation, but I see him doing good again. Jason Maxiell is beast either he crushes a guy, or they double him, and we move the ball around for an open shot.
Hunter To The Knicks? Looks like Lee may be right on on this one. Even though the Det News article doesn't suggest this it would not surprise me if Hunter somehow wound up playing for Brown in N.Y. before the year is out. http://www.detnews.com/2005/pistons/0510/05/D05-338090.htm
Remember the saying: An infinite amount of monkeys typing for an infinite amount of time will eventually produce all of the collected works of Shakespeare. Maybe monkey #356.5 did it just right this time.
Let's go easy on lee guys. Everyone is entitled to an opinion without being crapped on. lee just generates a lot of opinions.
predictions: Hunter, won't play Dupree, won't play Glynyiadakis, won't play Carmona, won't play CB 15 points per game Rip 13 points per game Tay 15 points per game Ben 7 points per game Sheed 17 points per game Dyess 8 points per game Arroyo 4 points per game Delfino 5 points per game Evans 8 points per game Darko 7 points per game Maxiell 3 points per game Acker, won't play Johnson, won't play Davis, won't play
Are you talking about today's game against Chicago or the whole preseason? Anyways heres my prediction against the Bulls: Chauncey:11 Rip:13 Ben:7 Tay:11 Sheed:11 Dice:13 Darko:8 Delfino:7 Arroyo:3, but 6 assists Evans:7 Maxiell:8 Pistons win:99 to 90 (This is if we don't play our starters a lot. I hope we don't so the bench can get better.)
..actually this post is a prediction for the regular season. lol. check out the rest of the posts on the thread.
In that case Rip only having 13ppg what's that about: I'd say rip 20ppg, Chauncey 16ppg, Sheed 17ppg, Tayshaun 16ppg, and Ben 10ppg.
you have a point there: I don't know what I was thinking. I don't think Rip will average 20, since I think he will be the odd man out in the offense this year. Plus, he has never averaged 20 pts a game for the Pistons. I will say 16 points a game for Rip City.

Umm Umm Umm... just doing points.... like that really matters. lol Buhdafan & 16& Farm got the right idea... -------Points Rebounds Assists Rip = ---20.2----3.5 ---- 4.0 CB = ---18.1----4.0----- 6.0 Sheed = 15.2--- 8.0----- 4.1 Prince = 13.5 ---5.5----- 3.5 Dyess = 8.2 ---- 5.8----- .9 Evans = 8.5------3.2----- .8 B Wall = 10 -----10.5---- 1.5 Arroyo = 7.5----- 1.5---- 3.8 Davis = 4.4 ----- 6.0----- .8 J Max = 5.0 ----- 4.5----- .6 Darko = 5.8 ------ 4.2 ---- .9 Delfino =6.0 ------3.5 ---- 2.3 Amir J. =2.3 ------1.8 ---- .6 Total Team Points = 96.3 (+3.0) Opponent Points = 93.0 (+3.5) Rebounds = 42 Opp rebs = 41.6 Assists = 23 Team FG% = 43% (-.1) Opp. FG % = 43% (+.05)
Here goes something I'll guess games, then points per game for each player Acker 30, 2.5 Arroyo 76, 5.5 Billups 78, 15.5 Davis 40, 1.5 Delfino 73, 5.5 Evans 78, 7.5 Hamilton 78, 16.5 Hunter 32, 1.5 Johnson 25, 1.5 Maxiell 55, 3.5 McDyess 75, 8.5 Milicic 74, 5.5 Prince 78, 13.5 Ben Wallace 78, 6.5 Rasheed Wallace 78, 13.5 And they will score 97.3 points per game as a team. This breaks down into 62.2 points per game contributed by our starting unit of CB, Rip, Prince, Ben, and Sheed. This leaves 35.1 points per game to be scored by our bench.
