If Rockets win the 'ship...man. Let's steal T-Mac now so they don't win. :starwars:

nah, ain't no way Houston is getting rid of T-Mac now that they are probably the favorites to win in all.

Well we got Kwame Brown so I think we're right in contention too.

This makes them better and now they have legit third option or even # 1 or 2 option depending on how many games T- Mac or Yao miss.

Wonder if we could have gotten him for a # 1, Aflollo and Plaisted??

There still time for other teams to act, if other teams make better offers. I'll be happy.

Ron Artest LOVES Rick Adleman. Good move for the rockets. Isn't Battier redundant now?

On a pure talent level, Artest is probably in the top 10 of the NBA. However, there is a reason that Houston can get him for a couple of late 1st round picks, an expiring contract, and a case of Heineken: Ron Artest is NUTS!!!

Thank God he's somebody else's problem. I would have really had a hard time rooting for a Piston team that had Ron Artest on the roster.

    Roster solidifying-

    Billups/ Stuckey/ Bynum
    Rip/ Afflalo/ Hunter
    Tay/ Sharpe
    Dyess/ Maxiell/ Johnson
    Sheed/ Brown/ Samb

That is 14 players officially under contract for 2008-09.

So, 1 more spot... or possibly 2 if Hunter retires.

    Herrmann seems likely.

I don't have a link, but it was in the argentinian press. If it's true, should be reported soon.
