Pistons Halftime Piece - Playoff Mindset

From the short halftime bit that ABC ran on the Pistons, during the Sunday April 9th game against the Pacers.

Looks like the media has finally figured out a method to "sell" the Pistons. Great guys, family, determined, underdogs. Basically what the franchise has stood for over the last 3 years, nothing new to those of us following the "D" relentlessly.

Here are some great quotes from the piece.

We're a nose to the grind stone kind of club and you better be willing to lay it out there on the floor.
    -Tom Wilson

We all have each other's back. And we all love each other not just on but off the floor too.
    -Rip Hamilton

I think we want it more than anybody right now.
    -Ben Wallace

When you make it all the way, play to the last final game, and you don't get the win... this year we are on a mission.
    -Rip Hamilton

Everyone in this business knows, that it's not a "given" every year, that you're going to be in a position to win a championship, so when you have a team that's good enough to win a championship, the urgency is to get it done.

Great vid, Micro. Thanks for posting it.

I've got a technical question though.

How come every time I try to play a video with Windows media player or even any other player for that matter, they just play choppy, skip over parts and just basically look like crap? Any thoughts, or ideas how to fix it?

    Tips

Download and play from your local computer. This website is not setup to properly stream video at a fast enough speed.

Change the video size to 50%. I find this fixes resolution problems.

Make sure you don't have a lot of other stuff running. Playing video beats the crap out of older computers.

Thanks for the tips. But nothing seems to help. No matter what video I try to play it just basically plays in slow motion, and the audio looks like watching an old karate movie where the audio doesn't match the movement of the folks mouths. I have plenty of RAM (almost 1 GB), so I know that's not the problem. I'm almost positive that I don't have any spy ware or a virus, so really I'm just at a loss.

The problem really just started up, I would say, about 2-3 weeks ago. You, or anyone else for that matter, wouldn't happen to have any other ideas would ya? :fingerscr

Thanks a lot for the suggestions, Abe.

    When I went to update my Divx player, during the update process I got this error message;

"The ordinal 2250 could not be located in the dynamic link library PX.dll."

So now my Divx player doesn't work at all (although it worked just fine before I tried to update it). Whenever I try to start the player now that error message pops up and the player doesn't load.

I searched the Internet as well as the Divx web site to see if I could find anything pertaining to that particular message, but I came up empty.

Man, I really am at a loss. But thanks again for the tips.
