there's an article on mlive making this statement. its not known who the 4 players are. they speculate that it could be Jrue Holliday, Earl Clark or Austin Daye.

since we're on the subject, how excited is everyone about the draft?

i'm actually pretty stoked. darko, delfino and rodney aside, joe-d has been super with his picks. i'm expecting that at least one of our three second round picks makes it (a memo, or at least amir perhaps?). and if we keep the #15 pick, i'm guessing that we'll get a solid contributor. a starter? hopefully. its supposedly a deep point-guard class...so maybe we could get a great one...move stuckey to the two??

Yeah, apparently Holiday impressed in his workout with them. Blakely says IF Earl Clark drops, the Pistons won't pass him up. It's all speculation at this point. That said, I am looking forward to the draft, just to see what Joe does. He never does as I expect him to, so it should be interesting.

Earl Clark would be a decent addition.

We could always use a few more 2nd round picks.

    1. Earl Clark (no brainier we take him if he is there)
    2. Terrence Williams (most likely the pick if Clark is gone)
    3. Eric Maynor (Rising in a lot of Mocks, maybe gone)
    4. Austin Daye (at 6'10 and looking like Tayshaun the Pistons just may take him ahead of T-Will)

I wonder if we can trade for Memphis' #2 pick. Tay to Memphis for Warrick or Gay and #2 pick.

Lol @ Jrue falling to 15. Maybe Daye. But he's nothing but a poor man's Keith Van Horn.

The only thing Amir contributes to is the team foul total, and the word 'potential' skyrocketing in popularity with Pistonsforum members. And I'd say Rodney was a solid draft pick. But besides Tay and Memo, I can't think of any other draft picks that Joe made that are worth a damn? Maybe I need some help. Ohhh yeah, Brian Cardinal, no wait...Mateen Cleeves?...no wait! Ricky Paulding! Detroit kid, no wait...Ohhhhhh yeah I have it, Rodney White! The 9th pick, great Joe.

All are projects. If you want a look into their futures then talk to all in 2-4 years. Of course, you probably will be conversing about them on other teams.

I really don't think Joe is really considering a PG at #15. Maybe Jrue Holiday, but he won't be there. I think your list is pretty accurate, but I would replace Eric Maynor with BJ Mullens.

A lot of Pistons fans have compared Mullens to Darko. That is actually probably pretty accurate from a physical standpoint, maybe even maturity standpoint. However, Darko failed because he is soft- he wanted to be the next Dirk Nowitzki, but didn't have the work ethic or talent to develop that skill level. Mullens on the other hand has always been an inside presence. If we can get a coach in here willing to really work with him, get him the PT he needs- Mullens has all the tools to be a starting C...and by center I mean a TRUE center. It is definitely a riskier pick than Terrence Williams who I think will be a poor man's Andre Igoudala or Earl Clark the next Lamar Odom.
