Mitch has done a good job managing the salaries on that team. If they can bag Odom & Ariza, or at least Odom, they're set for two more years. After that they will only have $22mm committed to Bynum and Walton, both with two years to go.

The FA market's pickings are slim this year. Maybe Joe will try to rebuild though the trades, although not sure what he can get for the players Pistons have. Maybe there is a reason to wait for the next offseason?

With Billups and possibly Rip gone they'll need someone to foul 3 pt shooters at the end of close games.

    Indeed.

Defino is cheaper and actually improved..or improve from what he did from his Pistons days and what I saw in the Olympics.

That almost prompted a spit take.

    Thanks.

Solid points Dre, It's not likely that the Champs will break up a good thing (they grossed 48 mil from the playoffs)... however you have to believe if they were to get financial religion then Odom would be the odd man out (age and defensive shortcomings)...
Gotta admit I'm always leary of players bumping the trends in a contract year.

Damn it's nice to know that we'll finally be getting some answers this week!

Tay is the only indespensible in the roaster in my opinion.

Can we toss a pinch of Curry in the roaster?
