Looks like Linwood, Mercury, Aurora, TheeTFD and Pass99 might be on to something with those predictions of 10-7 and 9-8........
Ok more than 1/2 way through March and we stand at 6-3. I predicited 11-6, so 5-3 for the remaining 8 games should be a good bet. Unless CB has to sit out more than one or two games.
March update: Pistons are 7-4 with 6 games left in a 9-day span: Thu: @Houstoun Fri: @San Antonio Sun: @Milwaukee Mon: Denver Thu: @Chicago Fri: New Jersey Not an easy stretch. First, you start out on the road against the two best defensive teams in the NBA. The Bucks seem to be playing inspired under their new coach. Denver has won 5 games in a row and can cause some matchup problems for Detroit. The Bulls blew the Pistons away the last time they played in Chicago. New Jersey, on paper, looks to be by far the easiest game of these six. The Pistons have played well, of late. The remainder of this month should be a nice test.
Why? Do you think people would have predicted a better Pistons record if they knew CB was going to be out? Detroit has actually played some pretty decent hoops the last 3 games without CB.
I predicted 11-6 and I see them taking four of the remaining six to match my prediction, but right now I would be happy with 13-4 recod. Coincidentally, 3 of those 4 losses were by 4 points or less, and they had an opportunity to win those three games vs Mavs, Heat and Cavs
Well the month of March is over. Considering the suspensions, injuries, viruses, finishing at 10-7 was not bad. It could have been much worse. Congrats to Aurora, Linwood, Merc, and THETFD for predicting the correct record for the month. Talk to Roscoe about your prizes!!!!!!!!
I got the final number right, but probably would have been way off if we made game by game predictions. The Pistons won some games I thought they would lose, and lost some games I was sure they would win. Strange month indeed for the Pistons.
