Ex wizard players are all over the league making contributions to teams... The risk we are taking is minimal and the reward could be great. I trust our GM about 100 times that of what I would trust Washingtons's GM.
The guy is totally one dimensional. He can shoot That is it. He can't create He can't penetrate He can't rebound He can't pass His defense is borderline at best He is one dimensional. Stick him 18' from the basket, pass him the ball and hope that he is hot. The perfect ISO man for Flip's system, even better than Radmanovic
Alright, lets do this. Can someone provide a list of the great centers out there that we can get for the next season without giving up an arm and a leg? Please be reasonable, as Nazr, Flip, and Lindsey won't get you a quality center in return, even if you throw in a 1st rounder.
don't try to make sence.... the fact everybody wants to get a center and there is none to be had...... In the way the NBA is going the need for the "typical" center is needed less and less, I see our PF's being more then enough against most teams and if there not..... Joe will deal with it.
That is just a weird post!! Read the scouting reports on the guy. Watch him play. Of course he will have his defenders bending over to make excuses for his mediocre play this year just like Murray had a number of posters here suggesting that he should replace C-Bill as our starting point guard. I hope Hayes succeeds with us. The fact is that we don't have a decent three point shooter besides him so he will be helpful in certain situations. Bottom line, is that if were any good at all, he wouldn't have been available for about $1 million for the year, which for 5 year guy is about as cheap as they come. P.S. If you have a fixation about his mother, you should seek help. Have a nice evening.
Wouldn't you agree, that if he can hit his shots and play adequate D he'd be an upgrade over Delfino, who in turn wanted out of here from the git go?
Buddah...how is it that you can get away with what you get away with? Just wondering. Have a nice day.
I wasn't hijacking anything. It is interesting how you use one rationale to assess a player and another rationale to assess others. What's wrong, Lee? Haven't seen Hayes hit a few 3's in practice two hours before tip-off? Who knows? Maybe this guy is the next Rodney White. Damn, ggazoo, start a Rodney White thread!
This is the only player that we have traded for in a verrrry long time with the exception of Rip & Sheed, that I can say emphatically, he will be a pleasant surprise to many of you pistons fans. He can just flat out shoot. I remember when we played the Wizards last year at Verizon Center, Jarvis lit us up. This guy will be HUGE off the bench and not on the sucky, wizards team.
I don't know if he'll be huge or not, but I also am very pleased with this signing. I think he'll be a positive.
