It's interesting that Macklin will stay with the Pistons summer league team even though Detroit decided not to offer him a contract for next season.

Very surprised that New Jersey isn't making a run for him.

Daye - I'll believe it when I see it. Same goes for CV. Those two really should get shipped out together.

That would be the best trade that would keep Joe D in Detroit until 2015 for sure.

Seems like V Mack and Singler might get along.

Should we have a separate thread for the other Pistons tweets?(I think Chuckles earned his own thread)

These things are fascinating, I got to start following these guys.

Charlies tweets are pure comic gold. Also how much usage did we get from one planking picture of CV?

    This is awesome.
I didn't think the Orlando games were going to be shown on TV.

I can't wait to get a look at Austin Daye and see what this kid can do!

Too bad the games aren't in Vegas where his life coach lives. Then we'd really see a show......

Would that SL team beat last year's Bobcats team?

    Not a chance.
Austin Daye would run and hide at the mere sight of Matt Carrol sitting on the bench.

So if Daye is on the bench, and Carroll is on the bench, then advantage Pistons!

Day and Jerebko came into the league together.
Jeb missed an ENTIRE freaking season due to injury.
Am I the only one that finds it funny that Austin Daye is the guy that is asked to go get some experience playing against rookies and a bunch of Ju-Co guys that didn't get drafted?

Maybe Daye knows that he is at the end of his leash and he requested to play summer ball with the young guys. He needs to get his confidence back if he hopes to play in the league again. The summer league could just be his cure (along with Joe D getting ridding of 4 or 5 other small forwards from the Pistons roster).

At this point, the only cure I see for him is for him to be one of the 4 or 5 small forwards that Joe gets rid of. He needs to go to a new city with a new fanbase of people who don't know how timid he plays.

I have to think that Joe's trying to showcase him in the Summer league since he's going to be so far down on the depth chart next season that he may never see the floor.

A 2nd round pick for Daye would be awsome.
A 1st round pick for him would be stealing.

I wonder if they bought him a round trip ticket.
