There are 10 teams competing in the Orlando Summer League. Everyone else goes to Vegas.

Here is the schedule for Detroit:

    Sunday, July 7: Brooklyn
    Monday, July 8: Boston
    Tuesday, July 9: OKC
    Wednesday, July 11: Miami
Friday: Championship Day (1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, etc.)

Here is how Championship Day is computed:

    POINTS SYSTEM
Standings over the first five days of the league will be kept using a seven point system. In this system, seven points are awarded each game and distributed as follows:
    • 3 points for winning the game
    • 1 point for every quarter a team wins (in the event of a tied quarter, both teams will receive 0.5. points)
    • The winning team in each game can collect between 4 to 7 points, while the losing team can collect from 0 to 3 points.

    CHAMPIONSHIP SEEDING CRITERIA
Day six Championship seeding will be determined by a team's total points in the league standings. In the event of a tie, the following tie-breaker will be in place:
    • Tiebreaker 1: Total point differential
    • Tiebreaker 2: Total points allowed
    • Tiebreaker 3: Coin flip

For $14.99, you can watch all summer league games, including those in Vegas and Orlando. The Vegas games take place after (July 12-22) after the Orlando games. Both venues have a new format this year, which includes a tournament.

You can watch these games on your desktop, tablet, or mobile device.

This scoring system is going to be a challenge for Tony Mitchell. I hope he doesn't get overwhelmed.

Maybe they'll let Sheed coach the squad? They'd get 14.99 if they did.

Usually an assistant will coach the summer team, but sometimes new coaches will do it to get oriented quicker. Jason Kidd said he will be coaching the Brooklyn summer team.

So I think I read awhile back Drummond would practice with the team but not play....

    So we have

    PG Silva
    SG Pope, English, Singler
    SF Middleton
    PF Mitchell
    C Krav

Wow we are young.... 8 players with 1 year or less in the league

Thanks for this. I don't know if I have the heart for it.
If I do, I will try to record like Lee (with my personal asides) which should make for good head-scratching.

I would rather watch BG's smooth stroke from the arc than high impact collisions in the paint. Thats just dangerous.
