Siva is not a lock to make the squad.

Drummond's statline with a couple minutes left in the 3rd quarter is crazy:

    7pts on 3-for-11 shooting, 1-for-5 FT, 12 reb, 4 stl, 6 blocks, 7 turnovers, 4 fouls

He looks very winded out there. Conditioning does not look good. This was a problem last year, too, when he did get extended minutes.

Siva made a couple nice passes to begin the half.

    KCP still struggling.

Coach Kidd/Frank are playing hack-a-Dre with 1 1/2 minutes left in a summer league game. Way to set that winning tone/culture for the Nets, you freakin' bozos!

Ha! Frank must be disgruntled. I bet he found out that Dre said negative things about him to JD.

Good all around effort by Drummond...12/16/ six blockss and 5 steals..............needs to spend the summer working on FT shooting.

Pope was 1/10 ...probably took to many threes. He will get better...nervous I guess.......... Middletons offensive skills proved that he needs to be getting 10+ minutes and probably ahead of JJ. Slavo looked good as did Mitchell. I will need to go back and review the tape tonight for a real analysis.

    Pistons won 76-67.

Middleton, English, and Drummond were the key players in this win. TRG did some good things.

Mitchell and KCP were pretty invisible in the 2nd half.

Siva actually showed some flashes that could land him a spot on the roster.

Corie Lucious is trying to show anyone that he deserves a shot on a roster.

Singler's brother is a lot like Kyle except with no offense or defense.

First time Ive watched Drummond just to watch him play. This guy has Shawn Kemp gifts in a shaken up but not opened can of soda!!!! He does little dumb things that he will grow out of..like touching his opponent before going up on a rebound- dribbling in the paint- free throw confidence. When he grows up and matures , he will unleash his athletic gifts to the maximum. Right now, he nedds to learn the game. Who do we have as a coach that teaches him?? Is James Edwards available to teach him the fade or the McHale step? Other notes:

    - I love Kim English..even at Missouri. He is our Lindsay Hunter. More skilled than Aaron Afflalo. PLAY HIM
    - Mo Cheeks will make this a VERY GOOD defensive team in 2 years. Smith n Drummond will torture the paint . We need a good 2 guard with a veteran defensive presence to go with Knight.
    - The Ukraine kid needs a year of NBDL. He pump faked on a wide open left handed layin
    - Mitchell and Middleton can play in this league.
    - Siva is cool looking cucumber.,,,, must learn how to shoot outside.
    - Korie Luscious is a career NBDLer or European

Andre Drummond was a monster today but KCP didn't look too good shooting the rock. However, his atlethicism and defense was apparent. It's only the first game though so I'm not that worried yet. Once his head matches the speed of the game, he'll improve.

Also, Silva looked really good. I think he has a chance of making the rotation. Not a great shooter but he's a great defender. He made some key stops/steals late in the game.

Drummond needs to sit. He's a man amongst boys in this Summer League. KCP.....SMH! I hope it's just nerves and rhythm.

Tony Mitchell quietly showed everything including the ability to make a jumper if you stand out there and dare him to shoot.

We're going to have problems at PG. Lucious looked better than Siva IMO. Siva ran the point like he's still in college with a 35 second shot clock. I can't see his game transfering to the NBA. Get Chauncey and/or Will Bynum on the phone ASAP!

I like Middleton's game, with a ton of pressure on the Bigs this year he should have a solid year. The guy can play. I'm actually good with playing out this season without making anymore major moves. 1 step at a time, let's see what we got and see what we really need this summer.

If we keep Monroe we'll have about $10-$12M to spend in free agency. If we let him walk because he's too expensive, we'll have about $20M+ to spend. Let's be patient with the plan and the money.

So, the guy we drafted and the guy that we could have drafted were a combined 2-22 shooting today? Rough start for both.

Well maybe he needs to add some glitter to those three "obvious stripes" he wore on his shirt. What an ego!
