DT the Pistons motto has been to close both the second and forth quarter as if they can't wait to get to the locker room. That 41-38 deficit ended with a 13 pt halftime deficit and that 8 pt deficit with 7 mins left ended with a 18 pts loss.

Its just the way Curry's rotations pan out that some how either the plays are not being called right or the wrong players are in there when the clock starts getting close to breaktime or quitting time.:stirthepot::yellowprison::sssh:

Nice. I don't think we can label the whole era as missed opportunities since we did capitalize some opportunities before.

Yeah, that sounds about right. But there was 2004. Plus some opportunities where they DID capitalize. I just don't know...

The era of defense and the team approach.

Come on. They changed the damned rules because of us. We held a team to 54 points in a playoff game. We held Kobe Bryant and Shaq to 68 points in the NBA Finals on national TV when the league wanted nothing like that. Fear the fro! Going to work. It may have faded over time and become a joke to us as the guys could not longer back up their swagger, but don't forget how great of a team this was for a 3-4 year span.

    Not many teams back-to-back it.

We proved we weren't a fluke in '04 by getting right back to the Finals the next year against the predictions of all the know-it-all pundits and took the Spurs to a game 7... nearly validating our '04 achievement and going in the pantheon with the Bad Boys.

I think it is possible for the Pistons to win this. They have to sit Tay and his matador defense. Put in some tackling dummies who with take a charge and they may get some calls. They have to double team James and try to keep him from getting the ball. Put in Amir to block some shots. They have to go all out, maybe with a full court press. They are not playing at a playoff pace.

Do we have any players that know how to consistently get in front of their man and take a charge? Everyone is either a step to slow or they quickly duck out of the [strike]Tay[/strike], er I mean way.:sssh:

    74 people voted.

A whopping 24 (almost 1/3) guessed a sweep by Cleveland. Kudos.

Another 22 like me figured Detroit could take one game.

So it's not like we weren't expecting this.

    Bidah bidah bidah...
