Magic and Foyle agree to contract -- OrlandoSentinel.com The longtime Warriors defender and shot blocker is expected to be a backup at center and power forward. The Magic will sign Foyle to the NBA veteran's minimum of $1.2 million (based on his 10 years of experience). Foyle has been among the NBA's top shot blockers throughout his career.
Only $4 million a year. That is a travesty. This guy has been and continues to be one of the best defenders, if not the best defender in the whole league, and he is only getting $4 million a year. That is just another example of the fact that very few people watch NBA games for the defense as opposed to the offense.
or he understands that he's a piece to the puzzle and that by keeping his salary in line that his TEAM will remain tough for years to come because they will have room to bring in help. its refreshing to see players who are set for life not try to milk a team for ever cent they can.

No way that happens. Port essentially gives up Jack, Outlaw and Frye for Devin Harris......Nope, not gonna happen, not even if Jordan was the GM. If that was all it took to get those three out of Port then Joe D needs to get on the phone NOW!!!!!!
Excellent trade for Portland They get a future all star point guard in Harris to play next to Roy and give up a several role players.
