Updated +/- for team through 1/1/13:

    1. Daye: +93 (+22.8 per 48 minutes!)
    2. Villanueva: +84 (+10.2 per 48)
    3. Drummond: +48 (+3.5 per 48)
    4. Singler: +3
    5. English: -2 (limited min)
    6. Maggette: -17
    7. Bynum: -21
    8. Knight: -30
    9. Jerebko: -64
    10. Maxiell: -70
    11. Stuckey: -79
    12. Prince: -105
    13. Monroe: -109 (-4.8 per 48)
Austin Daye's +/- explosion is just plain silly. It's coming against both benches and starting units (good teams and bad teams).
He's only 1 +/- point behind Chris Bosh on the season, despite playing a fraction of the minutes and not spending every second of court time with Lebron and D Wade.
Monroe and Jerebko are the only 2 players on the team to be in the negative at the Palace this year. Even in just the last 10 games which have been good, Monroe is in the negative.
Is this a red flag or is he just stuck getting the most minutes on the team with bad lineups around him?

Just spent an hour plus rereading most of this. Still can't understand why Scoe hated Billups.

He let the smooth taste fool him.

On the season, here are the top 10 2-man and 3-man combos for the team:

    1. Daye/ Drum
    2. Daye/ Villa
    3. Daye/ Knight
    4. Daye/ Stuck
    5. Knight/ Drum
    6. Daye/ Singler
    7. Daye/ Monroe
    8. Villa/ Drum
    9. Villa/ Singler
    10. Daye/ Bynum
    3-man combos
    1. Drum/ Knight/ Stuck
    2. Drum/ Daye/ Villa
    3. Drum/ Daye/ Knight
    4. Drum/ Villa/ Singler
    5. Drum/ Daye/ Stuck
    6. Villa/ Daye/ Singler
    7. Stuck/ Daye/ Knight
    8. Drum/ Daye/ Singler
    9. Drum/ Max/ Prince
    10. Villa/ Bynum/ Singler
Dominated by Drummond (7) and Daye (6) with a smattering of Villanueva, Singler, Knight, and STuckey.
Prince was dead last on the team in individual +/- on the season at the time of his trade. Daye happened to be on top after his magical showcase run. Joe needs to send this man an Appleby's gift certificate or something for making himself and Tay tradable.
Now that Daye is gone, Singler has risen to the top of the +/- ladder again (not counting GT players). He's actually a few points above break even for the season, which is pretty amazing since he's been stuck with the starting lineup for the majority of his minutes.
Maxiell is the leader over the last 10 games. Villanueva is cratering over the same stretch (and without Daye). Maybe Joe can convince Hollinger that Daye and Villanueva are best utilized in conjunction...

We need to see if we can put together a deal with Memphis for that Daye kid.
    He sounds pretty good.

Another season and another +/- crown for Amir Johnson. I believe that in his career, he has led his team in this statistic in all but one year. It would take some time to check that, but it is amazingly consistent.

On the season, he is 2nd on the Raptors in minutes played. 33 starts and 43 appearances off of the bench. So, he's been mixed and matched with various lineups on the team.

In the +/- category, he is +160 ish and he is about 100 higher than the next player on the team.

He's also the +/- per minute leader and he is the "off court" +/- leader as well by a large margin. i.e. when he plays, the team is +4.1 per 48 minutes and when he sits, the team does horribly with a -9.4 points per 48 minutes.

DeRozen is the only Raptor with more minutes.

Here are a few key stats for AJ this year:
Surprisingly 40% of his attempts are jump shots and he's shooting .439 on those (very good for a big)
He leads the team overall with a .552 FG%. Also leads in eFG.
2nd on the team in scoring
    1st in rebounding
3rd in assists (now that Jose is gone)
    2nd in steals
    1st in blocks
    1st in WS
    1st in WS/min
    1st in ORat
    1st in DRat

I feel like Amir was a frequent target of mine while he was here, but he has had a heck of a career. What was he the 2nd to last pick in his draft? You can tell by his body that he's worked hard.

I wish the Pistons could have just let him be himself instead of touting him as a 6'11 wonder-beast SF.

Agreed. I always ripped on the guy when he was here for having more fouls than points most nights but he's turned himself into quite a player.
If we still had Amir and Afflalo, I might be a little more enthusiastic in that "How close is this team" thread.

Flip says he only gets you the same thing every nite. And that's why he let him go.

When AJ was here we valued jumpshots over blocked shots. It's good that he is in a place where he is appreciated.
