Celtics in 6. I think Boston's a bad matchup for the Lakers with Bynum hurt (again! Bynum's always hurt it seems.) The C's are too physical inside, have the ability to play the games great stars to frustration (LeBron and Kobe) because they've got Pierce, have a dominant matchup at PG since the Lakers have nobody athletic enough to contain Rondo. The only caveat on this is if Rondo is more hurt than we know. His bad back, if bad enough changes everything and then the Lakers win. If Bynum were healthy, I'd say Lakers in 7 in an all-time great series.
I am glad you are giving us a chance to vote after game one.....I am still going with the percentages, where Phil Jackson's teams are 47-0 when they win game one of any playoff series ....so once game one is over the series can be called then. I like the way the first few games are spread out for boston, they play really well on the road... I see them winning game one and maybe even game two with the extra day off.... they will fall flat though on there first home game. I see the series going 6 with Boston winning out.
I hope that Celts lose game 1 and then go on to win the series so this BS mysticism about Zenmaster's record stops. That's all the media seems to talk about.
That would be nice.... both the Thunder and Suns looked liked they had chance to upset the mysticism, but each loss a game that could have gone their way if not for a lucky last second put back off Kobe misses.
