A lot of people are talking about the crowded SG spot and the possibility of trading TGRH. Heck, some people are even going so far as to insinuate that Joe is holding The Griever out of the lineup under the guise of an injured hammy.

Names like Boozer and Odem have been tossed around and there are some other names out there as well.

Do you think Rip should be traded? (or should it be AI?)

Who do you think Joe could, should get?

...fire up the ESPN Trade Machine and let the stupid/intelligent trade proposals commence!

Marcus Camby is on top of my list.. ofcourse trade rip..

Jazz, Clippers are two teams we can make trade with. They have many bigs ( boozer, millsap , okur in case of utah & kaman, camby & randolph in case of clippers)...

We got big men up the wazoo. Mostly, they sit the bench.

I hear that Sac is trying to shop Brad Miller.
...now, in NO way am I saying that we should go after him.

It would be another 10mil off of the books in 2010 though.

AI is leaving after this season. I think that RIP is still the scoring threat who should start. Yea...We got BIGS, if you include players under 6'9" and players under 220 pounds. Let MC figure out what to do with what he's got.

And in 2010, there's a lot of talent. I would pull the trigger. They do got Kevin Mart though.

Sheed- 6'11", solid, crafty, "most skilled player in NBA when he wants to be", etc.
Dyess- 6'10", vet with range and defensive will power.
Brown- 7'0", good defender, young, strong rebounder
Amir- 6'11", 21 years old, defensive genius, offensive rebounder
Maxiell- 6'10" if he had a normal human neck. Shock blocker, energy big.

I'm telling ya, we got the 4 and 5 covered for this year. Next year with Sheed gone, we'll have weakness.

But Vince Carter isn't the answer, unless Joe finds a gem in the draft.

I'd be good with Raymond Felton + others from CHA for TGRH

I hat this jumping on a gun attitude. You dunno what Sheed does after this season yet you're labelling him as retired.

I'M AGAINST OF EVERY TRADE RIP FOR "BIG RENTAL",. NONE OF THOSE "BIG RENTALS" IS BETTER THAN SHEED( is not worth of risk).

I HATE THIS ATTITUDE "THROW RIP UNDER BUS, HE IS USELESS, WHO WANTS HIM, SELFISH WHORE, DON'T WANT TO COME FROM BENCH"

YOU ARE NOT BETTER THAN ORLANDO FANS.

I share Rax's sentiment (sort of) although not in those words and so vehemently, but the general gist of trading Rip.

He hasn't even said i refuse to come off the bench or the screw you Pistons, etc. In fact the last thing out of his mouth was a statement that AI makes about team and winning proceeded by missing practice.

JMax is no where near 6' 10. He is more like 6'7 with shoes on. Dyess on a good day is 6'9.

You missed the crucial "if he had a normal human neck" caveat.

You must admit that Maxiell plays bigger than 6'7", right?

RIP doesn't have to say anything. His body language says it all. His play on the court says it and the techs say it. I am only for trading RIP if we get younger in doing so and perferbly if we land a double double guy with upside. This team is old and we need to start replacing pieces. RIP is not going to be able to run around non stop forever. Get physical with RIP and you take him out of his game. Everyone knows RIP's M.O. especially in the playoffs.

I would be willing to trade RIP, let AI walk ,and would be prepared to start Stuckey and Affalo in 2010 in my back court if it meant that I could get a Bosh/Boozer type starting next Sheed for scraficing RIP and cap filler to get it done.

I think if the team succeeds, a lot of people won't have anything to complain about.

You know i went back and watched the end of that game b/c ppl were commenting on how Rip ignored AI or looked like he was going to cry because we won the game, and i saw Rip stick his hand out for a high five, AI smile at him and emphatically slap it, and then Rip doing the head pat thing as AI was walking by.

I think alot of people are selling him short in alot of areas.

This double double guys (Boozer i'm assuming) rep in the PO's is to choke when it matters against good competition while allowing his opponent to light him up and his character rep not much better.

There's no other big out there who's avaliable else who is worth trading Rip for.

We would essentially be filling one hole and creating another one in the future.

I see weakness this season, unless MC plays the right combinations.
