Cav's cry foul...want the record books changed & a "do over"....

    This didn't take long....

    Rashard Lewis = Manny Ramirez
Buckeye Battle Cry - Jeff at the BBC

"Time and time again, as we watched the Eastern Conference Finals, we saw Rashard Lewis of the Orlando Magic hit shots from the outside. Two things often left my throat after he buried long shots.
    1) Somebody GET ON HIM!
    2) No way is this guy that good….he must be on something!
    Turns out, I was right about both of them. The Cavs left that guy open way too much….and Lewis WAS on something. From ESPN;

All-Star forward Rashard Lewis of the Orlando Magic has been suspended without pay for 10 games for testing positive for an elevated testosterone level, the NBA announced Thursday.
“First and foremost I take full responsibility for the situation and accept the corresponding penalty,” Lewis said in a statement released by the league. “Toward the end of the season I took an over-the-counter supplement which at the time I did not realize included a substance banned by the NBA.
Lewis didn’t realize that testosterone-based steroids were banned? Give us a break. You can’t “take full responsibility” unless you actually OWN UP to the wrongdoing. Claiming innocence is not accepting responsibility.

In the end, this means nothing for the city of Cleveland….but now we know what it took to defeat our Cavs.

    It took cheating."

Solid player, but I don't see this helping the Pistons against them. I just think they're waaaay better than us NOW...

Only someone from Cleveland would equate testosterone with 3 point shooting. I am a lights out half court shooter, and I have low testosterone. What does that prove?

Aw ya know I was just speculating here as I don't whom the Pistons will beat or how many games they will win in the first month or the whole season since we have new parts...but since the Magic have lost one of their key personnel in Turkolu and Lee and replaced them with Vinsanity, both teams have new parts that will be trying to figure out how to mesh as a team...in other words, no Turk and no Lewis to begin the season may be a struggle for awhile for the Magic as they learn to adjust.

Maybe somebody on here can correct me, but from what I understand DHEA doesn't help any with muscle building and performance enhancing. From what I have read it sounds like this drug only really helps with neuro disorders. If this is the case what the heck was the point in taking this drug?

I think I heard on ESPN this morning that it is a steroids precursor that "combats fatigue" But that was their medical analysis as other says it does other things,

Well if everyone is tired/fatigue and you are not, then you definitely got an advantage on your competitor>

Don't you know that 3pt and half court shots utilize different hormones?

Maybe 'Shard was aspiring to achieve the lofty goal of becoming the 2nd softest player in the NBA.

Oral DHEA doesn't even survive first pass liver degradation. Rashard would have gotten more of a testosterone boost from a juicy RibEye Steak.

More scientifically unsubstantiated hype perpetrated by the supplement companies (this particular lie was exposed YEARS ago) and spoon fed to the poorly educated media elite.
