Roscoe represents the end user in this scenario. His satisfaction is far more indicative of job performance than any other criteria that could be set by Chris' first line supervisor.
Indeed. Only in government is customer service gauged by the supervisor, and not the end user. @Menace, I don't want to argue anymore so I'll just repeat, all Chris did was direct quote Hamilton. What fans do about that, is no reflection on McCosky or his truthfulness. One can only hope that if he had a direct quote from Iverson, he would print that as well. Certainly fan backlash for truth telling doesn't properly incentivize that behaviour.
What do you mean by that? I'm from Europe, go easy on me, need a frigging dictionary for those words, lol
.....incentivize..... ...nice. incentivize - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary everyday ya learn something new I'll use this in the future now...thanks to roscoe!
You're from the Netherlands...it's alright with me. I toyed with Icelandic for a while, and that was quite a pain to nail down.
If we want Chris to keep giving us good information, it is not in our interest to get upset with him or to question his integrity when he does so. Our negative feedback will likely discourage him and his editors from taking chances. Hopefully that makes more sense.
Pistons mulling whether to start Hamilton or Iverson | detnews.com | The Detroit News looks like small ball is gone and one of the two coming off the bench is a foregone conclusion. either way we'll find out soon enough how this plays out.
Yeah i understand and hopefully you understand where i'm coming from when i say that i kinda questioned his integrity because i don't know him. Don't you agree that you learn to know someone's integrity after a period of time. Clearly you have and he is an ok reporter, i didn't know that cause i have only been here for 2 months. Last thing i want to add is, even if the report is accurate, i am just not into flaming players untill they actually do something that hurts the team. This has now been blown up to huge proportions and might just end with a sizzle (25 frigging forumpages for nothing, lol).
I thought the Pistons were playing on Tuesday? Roscoe, is this an example of how accurate Chris is? Lol, just joking but couldn't resist posting.
Fair enough. I would rather have 25 pages of arguing and hand wringing then no posts at all. The 25 pages shows how much we care, how much the details and nuances matter.
Sometimes McCosky is so busy listening to the glass he has pressed against the wall that he forgets what day it is
