I agree. I think Rip can revive his career and give the Bulls the piece they have been missing. I've been reading some of the comments on Blogabull about Rip and I'm surprised at the total apathy by Bull's fans. Calling him the corpse of Richard Hamilton etc. I think they think he will be like another Piston who left for the Bulls.

I thought he had lost some of his pop the past couple of years, ever since his injuries. We will see. He is not going to get as many shot attempts that he is used to but he will be back in a winning system.

They are not getting the same Rip from the playoff runs - then again they were using Bogins as their starting SG so Rip may look pretty good to them.

Rip to get a 3 year $15M deal from the Bulls:

That's a good deal for the Bulls. Rip's been taken care of very well. He should be buying Dumars a thank you gift. He's still getting all the money he wants, is going to a team he wants which happens to be a contender.

Solid deal for Chicago. Rip, as I remember him, isn't the piece to put them as the favorites over Miami but he's a step in the right direction. Certainly better than Bogans.

I really hope this works out for RIP and the Bulls like Rodman did many years ago.... let them win a few titles and keep the Heat down till were ready to play ball again.

Those fans are referring to him as "Rip Van Hamilton" due to age.........

Hamilton said this about Rose.............so he has the right mind set...........

"The kid is very special,’’ he said. β€œThe kid can do any and everything. He showed that last year. I just want to help. I just want to be there when he needs me and be able to ride with him.”

After reading this quote...and seeing the difficulty Stuckey is having...I wonder if Stuck thought Rip was talking about him...........

I don't get the hate from Chicago fans. I think they're all in for a pleasant surprise.

They're just reacting to the recent pick up of Ben Wallace....which was a dud for them....

They've forgotton about Rodman I guess............

The Bulls just laid an old fashion 2004 vintage Pistons beating on the Magic tonight, holding them to 59 points. They did it without Derrick Rose and without Rip Hamilton (not like that part matters).

John Lucas just had his 3rd 20 point ball game this year and has come through big since Rose went out.

I'm not sure which team is better in a playoff environment, but there is going to be an epic battle in the ECF this year between the Heat and Bulls. I'm hoping that both teams are fully healthy so that we can see the tough bball style get the big stage.
