The team meeting was mentioned on TNT IIRC, and I'm not sure if it was the sideline reporter or what, but i'm not in the mood to go through all the posts on REALGM again. Someone posted about it in the game thread so maybe they can elaborate.

Sheed was probably behind it - trying to stir up trouble.

I took it to mean that there was going to be a meeting on the plane ride home, but I figured it meant Joe and the coaches, but it was told very open ended so knowing the guys on some of these sites...... I'm sure they ran with it being anybody on the plane was going to be part of the meeting.

I also take up with the reporter saying the team wanted Rip to start, very well might be.... but I'd like to see one player comment on it. Nobody has said anything puplic besides Rip and AI as far as I can see.

I think they made the right decision. A decision the other way would still be better than sb, but now I think we will see improvement.

Rip taking it like a man (calm down CB) is a big plus.

Should be an interesting couple of weeks.

I do think the chances are 50-70 percent Rip gets dealt.

I think he's chances are DECREASED, because he isn't complaining. They will go up again if AI gets an extension.

I replied to your post in the other thread. But i think you're right about it just being something that was run with because on the other site it was explicitly stated as that was what was said on TNT.

    I didn't mean that they didn't decrease.

I thought that they were higher than 50-70 before.

AI will not get an extension..... I'm pretty sure of that.

At least not during the season. We'll let the season playout, if things play well, we'll prolly wait for the FA traffic to clear and then ink him. Realistically nobody's out there this summer unless Memo opts out, or you think Lamar Odom is the ticket to taking the next step. The best idea is to really ink AI, Sheed and Dyess to large 1 year deals using their Bird Rights, then spend the cash in 2010.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Dumars is not the type of guy to give contract extensions during the season. If things work out well, there's a chance we could resign AI. It'll have to be for a reduced salary, but then again... I don't think any team is going to be willing to pay him $20 mill per anymore.

Hey guys, do you think the players should have a meeting, and vote Arron Afflalo back into the lineup?

Curry is a complete tool. I still don't think it matters who starts. What matters is who plays the last 6 to 8 mins of the game. If we role with small ball during that time span it is not going to matter who started the game we will lose 75% of the time.

I don't care how it gets done, but AA NEEDS to be getting minutes.

Since when does Curry have a set bench rotation anyway? He's been inconsistent all year long with his rotations.... Max and Kwame have gone several games in a row with DNP's at times, then they'll play 25 minutes in the next game.

I don't think they'll be doing that (I hope not anyway).

I think Stuck, Prince, Sheed and Dyess will see the crunch time minutes in the fourth quarter (foul trouble notwithstanding). AI/Hamilton will play depending on who is playing better.

That's how it SHOULD BE, imo. We'll see though....

The way AI is playing he is hurting his FA market value. I thought that he could probably get Chauncey money starting at around 10 mill a season for like 3 or 4 years. Now I don't know. AI has lost a step and is not as dominate. I can see him having to come down to around 7 or 8 mill a year for 3 years.

Well, you have just opened an entire new can of worms.

You see, first we need to decide whether they should have a meeting to decide if Arron Afflalo gets to vote in the meeting about whether or not they should have a meeting to decide if he gets in the lineup. Then they gotta decide if he gets to vote on whether or not he gets back into the lineup. I wonder if this is why the players appear confused on the court? Should we decide if we should vote on it?

    Curry and Dumars:
