Rip for Chandler seems most likely. He makes about $500,000 less than Chandler, so that would be a start for the Hornets' 'cap dumping offseason' as I would like to call it. Plus, it would be a great addition to the back court with Chris Paul. On our side, we need a a good young center. Health may be an issue, but injuries never seem to be a problem when players come to the Pistons with the almighty Arnie Kander.(ie: Ben Wallace, Antonio McDyess)

    Stuckey - slasher
    Gordon - shooter
    Prince - defender
    Villanueva - shooter/scorer
    Chandler - cleaner upper

Seems like a balanced team so long as CV doesn't settle for long jumpers and Prince wakes up from his year long hiatus.

How does that stack up against the top 3 teams from last year though? In my incompetent mind:

    Rondo - wash
    Allen - wash
    Pierce - adv. Boston
    KG - adv. Boston
    Perkins - wash

Williams - wash (because Shaq will swat away Stuckey)
    West - adv. Det
    LeBron - adv. Cle
    Varejao - adv. Det
    Shaq - adv. Cle

    Nelson - wash
Carter - wash (because VC sucks in the long run)
    Pietrus - wash
    Shard - wash
    Howard - adv. Orl

So, with that lineup, we can match up ok against Cleveland and Orlando, but Boston, assuming they retain their core, will still give us problems.

I think it's a very workable starting lineup. Gordon would need to really step up as would Prince and Villanueva. The missing pieces are on the bench. If Dyess were to return and supply some nice shooting and rebounding off the bench, that's part, but both Affalo and Bynum would need to get more consistent and there is probably one more bench piece missing.
