That would make his first game possibly against the Knicks.

Its really a shame for him, his family and friends in the great Northwest that he will miss the game in Seattle, because we won't be playing them again in Seattle until next year.

How can you not love Hot Rod's attitude. It is center target right on.

Great skills, great determination and keyed in to what it takes to make himself a huge success in the NBA.

    PISTONS: Good News

I am keeping my fingers crossed. Hot Rod was on the bench wearing a suit with his hand heavily wrapped (not sure exactly how, as we sat too far to determine).

He's going to get slapped on the top of that hand a bunch when he comes back. When guards drive, that is what happens.

He really needs to wait until it is fully healed.

Rodney Stuckey will have his broken left hand examined today and possibly be fitted with a protective glove that he would wear when he plays. If that goes well, he could return to practice on Tuesday.

Stuckey said he needs to get his conditioning back. With a broken hand, about the only thing he should have been working on is conditioning. Let's hope he just means getting used to the fast pace of NBA basketball.

So you don't think that Hot Rod has been lounging around in front of the tube watching sports and pigging out?

When will Hot Rod become a Cast Off?

The sooner the better in this case. LOL

That means he won't get cleared until around Dec 4th or 5th.

From Dec 4th - Dec 31st we have 14 games scheduled. We have two games before the 4th. So that means we will play 16 games in December and 30 games by the end of the year.

With all the games to be played in Dec, basically 1 every other day, it is not very likely that we will have any game like practice sessions. This means that Hot Rod will definitely have to get in game shape entirely during live games. My guess is that Murray or Hunter will be the 1st guard in off the bench at least through December and maybe even longer.

I expect Hot Rod to have a nice seat at the end of the bench next to AJ at least for most of December.

Heres the question?? Can we get Rod in game shape, contributing, and comfortable before the trade deadline. Thats the key. What we really need is for Stuckey to really be kickin butt come january so we can move flip in february for a late 1st rd pick in 2009, same can be said for Amir so we can Move Nazr and resign Webber as our insurance policy big man.

moving murrey and dupree yes, but naz will have a use come play off time no matter if amir is in the rotation or not. we need a big center type force at times and amir just won't be that player this year no matter how much progress he makes.
