We can talk all day long about how nice it would be to see Artest in Pistons gear checking LeBron in the 2010 ECFs but it ain't gonna happen for 3 reasons.

    1. He's psycho.
    2. His most glaring example of psychosis (...and there's been a LOT of 'em) was at the Palace.
    3. (prolly the most important reason) He'll re-sign with the Houston Rockets.

I don't see why everyone is calling Artest a time bomb, he's only been thrown out of 2 of the 6 games this series.

"'Five Dollar Foot-long' is one of the best songs," Artest said. "That's a hot song. You've got the FreeCreditReport.com, and then 'Five Dollar Foot-long' comes on. When 'Five Dollar Foot-long' comes on, they should play that in the club. They should play all those in the club."

    :pound:

A nice quotable from Ron, apparently during last night's post-game presser.

He would be perfect not only in slowing Lebron down but Paul Pierce, Turkoglu, Granger, Caron Butler, Lewis, Marvin Williams, John Salmons etc.....Eastern conference teams are built around the the small forward (wing position)

As long as were in the East we will never be an elite team if we don't sign a player like Artest.

Ron Artest in my opinion is the best free agent this summer!

I always thought the same thing but now I think 16 mile has a great point. He's the ultimate "anti-LaBron". We had Joe to put the clamps on MJ so we need someone to fill the same roll and put the clamps on Bron Bron.

See? He could also fill the void that would exist [STRIKE]if[/STRIKE]when Sheed leaves.

And to think, his music career just never took off. Amazing.

    Ahead of his time?

That's a HUGE if. I'd take Artest if Adelman came with the deal.

Battier could do a decent job on LeBron too, but he's lacking the bulk. He'd be a much less risky option. However, I doubt Houston would part with him. Especially if Artest walks this summer.

I honestly don't think that the Rockets are going to do to much to change their roster outside of trying like heck to get T-Mac off of their books. Shane Battier is locked up for 2 more years beyond this season and might be available in a trade if the Rockets spend the cash to re-up crazy Ronnie (which I think they will).

If the Pistons wern't so crowded at guard, I'd take a run at Von Wafer. Dude is a free agent and would be instant-offense coming off the bench. Plus Wafer possess the biggest quality that Joe looks for in a player; ...he's cheap! (he'll likely sign for about 1.5 mil.)

Yea, if I was Houston, I'd be shopping T-Mac for a quality big. Yao is fragile and Mutombo is old. I wouldn't be surprised if they traded T-Mac to the Clippers for Camby or Kaman. They are a much better team without T-Mac and Camby can help the same way Mutombo did. The trade also works for the Clippers because their management is just that stupid.

There ain't gonna be any takers for T-Mac at 20mil until it's an expiring deal. If they want to get rid of him, they're gonna have to find a way to buy him out.

Props to Joe for NOT trading a combination of Rip/Tay/Chauncey for T-Mac late last summer when that rumor was flying around.

Von Wafer would be an exciting pickup.

Yep at this point based on what we experienced this past season..almost everyone seems to be a good pickup...especially if their team is still playing:)

We just need some new blood on this team that are able to overcome Curry's shortcomings...

Oh - Actually T-Mac's contract is expiring after this coming up season. Nobody mention it to Dumars...... He will be in a Pistons uniform before you know it.

I was getting depressed cause of all the stress I was feeling at home

Had a poor credit score and the number would haunt me wherever I go

I don't know...part of the drum set is a pirate's hat. I would prefer if he played Curry's head.
