Roy Williams has been traded to the Dallas Cowboys for two 2nd round picks (one in 09 second in 2010)

    Your thoughts....?

The Lions got a 1st, 3rd and 6th round pick for Roy and a 7th. Now all they need is competent from office people to get solid players out of it. :pound:

Whoever brokered that deal needs to be kept. Without Millen to muff up the process, I'm impressed. Hard to mess up that many extra picks unless you hire Charlie Brown. Or Matt Millen..

We need O-Line help before even considering a RB. Barry Sanders wouldn't be able to run behind this line.

We have to build from the trenches out. O-Line and D-Line need to be a priority.

Then everything else on D, starting with MLB, OLB and CB. Then once those positions are taken care of, we can look at QB, RB and TE. They'll also need to start looking at a K.

WR should be the absolute last position looked at on this team!!!

While I agree on the lines, the Lions shouldn't spend their first pick there. That's what makes the DallasRoy 1st rounder so cool :)

Like usual, I agree with Jammer once again. With a decent offensive line, Kevin Smith and Rudi Johnson could be putting up above average rushing numbers. Lions have more pressing needs than RB.

I think Lions did good on this one. Most of the teams have one prominent receiver and it should be Johnson. Now they need to use those picks smartly.
I don't know if we should give any credit to anyone as it may have been Dallas's desperation that contributed.

But the Fords still own the team.

Yea, I know...The family will have to be in [STRIKE]crisis[/STRIKE] Chrysler mode before they sell the team.
