Two great articles on on why Izzo is the best prepared coach in the game. This is why State will beat NC - ARROGANCE.

Roy Williams believes they have no reason to make any pregame strategy adjustments. He believes, hence his team believes they're the cats ass and see no need to think about the strengths of an opposing team. Incredibly arrogant and a little bit stupid.

Izzo beat the National Champs, Kansas, twice this year, dismantled Louisville and UConn because he looks for the weaknesses in the opposing teams players and plays. Roy boy will be out-coached tonite. His team will likely be in foul trouble half way through the second half and he has no bench. I think NC loses by 8.

(by the way I live in North Carolina)

"While Michigan State systematically breaks down each of its opponents -- analyzing 10 games before every matchup -- the Tar Heels simply focus on their systems. "I'm not trying to belittle any other coach that does a lot," said North Carolina coach Roy Williams, who prepares for teams much like his mentor, Dean Smith, did. "We always prepared ourselves and weren't very concerned about other teams. We give our guys a two-page scouting report. I have some good friends in coaching who will give their teams 15 or 20." You'd think Williams would be a little more wary after watching Izzo catch both Pitino & Calhoun with their pants down.

Hey Det..State takes'em by 8 or more, look for the NC boosters to call for Roy Williams head on a platter. Bragging about not preparing for another teams game is a sure sign taking things for granted. 2 pages of games notes? Pass that man a big helpin of D-troit asswhuppin...

Eventhough I'm going for NC, but gosh that is arrogant. MSU is not a bad team; they are great!! Roy has lost his mind not coming up with a plan to defend and score against these guys.

    [STRIKE]Coach didn't prepare the team properly[/STRIKE].

Team seems afraid to drive the lane.

    Oh, I forgot..this is not a Piston's thread.
I'm proud of the Spartans. They've played excellent team basketball.
They represented the Big Ten and Detroit well.

No doubt. Hopefully they make a run and make this a good game.

The bigger they come the harder they fall.
Sparty will be back next year. Heels won't.

Exactly. UNC will make the tourney next year but will go down as fast as Kansas.

Izzo's program will continue it's course.

Stop hating on UNC. Of course they'll make the tourney but the only reason they will lose is because they will have a team of freshies and sophomores with a couple of juniors and one or two seniors but any other reason they would go far again maybe not win it all again but go far.
