let's trade KB and JMax for Chandler, get Boozer for Rip and Tay and play CV at the 3. That would be one helluva team. Only problem would be that besides the starters, there would hardly be any players left on the roster. Oh, and that salary cap thing.

Rip and Kwame for Tyson Chandler is a better deal.

I do like Chandler, although looking at his numbers, he would have to be one of the most inconsistant players in the league. We could use his size though.

No doubt before they change their mind.

wait if we do this who are our bigs?

    chandler, villanueva, and..................

that's a pretty thin front court, and we probably wouldn't have any $ leftover to even sign a free agent on the cheap

    Amir? kidding

If TC gets hurt we would be pretty screwed, but he's as good as KB and Max put together. I think you have to pull the trigger if this is offered.

The Hornets blog is going crazy over this. They really want Maxiell. Are we missing something here?

I would love the deal...then we could sign someone like Dyess and play him as our main backup at the 4 and 5...another good option to sign would be Drew Gooden...played well in SA last year.

"The Block" lives eternally in their minds. Then again, Chandler was injured/sucky for most of last year.

I'm not stressing it. I just want someone that can rebound.

Probably wouldn't have enough $$$ under cap for that.

I don't really see what's so special about Tyson, but given our options right now I'll take him.

Max is one big highlight reel. But night in and night out, he's an undersized PF that has trouble contributing EVERYNIGHT. If the Hornets fans are salivating, many others across the league must be also....never knew 6.5ppg & 3.5rpg could create such fan fare.

Besides being inconsistent offensively, he's made some defensive gaffes and he can't rebound under his own glass worth a lick. He might improve, but even with everything I don't see him more than a 10-5 type guy.

Oddly they've always coveted him. Every year they say they need a Maxiell type player. I think Max is very good on the right team, but he's not a starter.
