No. It doesn't.
Yeah, I was like [SIGN]WTF?[/SIGN] when I read that.
same here, that was so inredibly the opposite phrase that we read in this forum that I thought someone in this forum wrote a fake article or something.
yea that was as far as i could read that article..... he lost any credibitly at that point.
Clue me in. What are you looking at??
The creating his own shot off the dribble BS is my guess.
bingo.... don't get me wrong... i love rip and would be happy to keep him, but him creating his own shot? thats never been his strong point. Anybody here honestly say you want rip with the ball iso'd on anybody at the top of the key.
There's a reason I've called him "ClownShoes McTrippy" in previous posts.
Because... A) You don't win championships with character. You win them with talented teams. B) If all you can say about this guy is he had a questionable contract negotiation..that's a pretty weak indictment of a person's character. and C) What makes you or anyone else qualified to judge another person?
I think he was joking -- i.e. "a boozer".
Bingo. Low, I was kidding. If we got Boozer, we'd have a boozer on our team. :nerd2:
i'm drinking a Great Lakes brewery Edmund Fitzgerald porter right now, and i'm still not drunk enough to want Carlos Boozer on my team. Seems like all you guys are just excited to get some free agent big men on the team. Just because the cupboard is a little bare right now doesnt mean we need to fill it with cans of spam and chef boyardee.. For one, Boozer would probably be a disaster at center, and secondly, he just wants WAY too much money. Maybe if he didn't have a history of health problems and questionable character.. To me, the only way his acquisition becomes intriguing is if we already somehow lock up the center position with some other trade. But lets say we do somehow trade for, let's say, Chandler. And also pull off a trade for Boozer. Do you want to extend him for ~$14 mil a year? I don't. I'd be open to keeping him for a year and letting his contract expire for next year, but i have a feeling the lame duck status might become a big distraction during the season.
That's a legit point right there. Although I'd still take him.
well, we've seen that Joe is a gambler. frankly, can't really blame him. you gotta take chances, and we know standing pat will get us nowhere. it's just.. some guys you just don't like, you know? boozer just rubs me the wrong way. i'd look for other options. seriously, you should be able to get a lot of value in today's nba poor economic landscape. boozer for big $$$ is soo 4 years ago.
He's a player, not a coach. When players are in their final year of a contract, they typically raise their game to justify a nice next salary.
You got that one right. Beat me to it.
Well you might be happy to hear that Boozer has been learning Swedish massage, so you should be pleasantly surprised. Your rubs are going to start getting a lot better. You heard it here first.
i think it may have moved.
