Reporting that a three way deal is in the works involving the Pistons, Suns and Raptors with Bosh coming to us, Amare going to the Raptors and Tay ending up in Phoenix. They are also reporting that this deal works salary wise.

A big trade is defintely on the horizon and the Pistons seems to be in the middle of all this trade talk.

I will just stay tuned as most of you will too.

I'd still do it, but you have to wonder what we'd do for a Small Forward.

    Small Ball?

Interesting. I am surprised Tay would be the one to get moved. He seems like the only level headed person on the team and has taken more of a leadership role on the court from what I have seem. He also is the youngest of the core. I don't see how Tay helps Phoenix unless they are going to get rid of Barnes or Grant Hill. Still is a very lopsided deal. Phoenix is getting robbed.

Kerr has to be quite terrible of a GM to do that tho. Tayshaun prince in no way lands amare or bosh for you.

Agree why would some GM take Tay in this deal unless Porter has a picture of Kerr and Nash in some compromising position.

Did anyone notice how Tay was giving directions to every single Pistons player last night? He's like a coach on the floor.

I'd be very sad to see him go. But if we can essentially trade him straight up for a legit big man, then it probably should be done.

It's funny that we have no backup for him and he'd be the one to go though.

If this trade happened, we would for sure have to clear out some of our other big men. Bosh/Sheed/Dyess/Kwame/Maxiell/Amir is quite a logjam. That's like 3 teams worth of bigs.

Interesting.... I guess Rip moves back into the starting lineup if that trade goes down.

I am really hoping that something happends. It would be tough to part with either Prince or Rip but you have to give something to get something.

If its Prince then think of all the 7-point games he has had. To get a premier power forward would really be something. I don't want to wait until 2010.

They had a spot interview with Dumars during yesterdays game in which he seemed more than willing to take a chance on a deal right now. If something can happen right now then why wait. Have a great opportunity with these 2 young all-star PF's on the market. I know they have their faults but you are not going to find much better unless you find another diamond in the ruff or tank a season. And we all know there are no gurantees with a top draft pick. If there were any Diamons out there then Dumars would have found them by now.

Time is now - lets get something done and get back into contention.

Lets say Sheed and Tay go and we get back Bosh/Amare along with some guy that gets cut.

Starters: Stucky, AI, Rip, Bosh/Amare, Dyess.

Thats a good line thats going to peak about 10 games before the post-season. Plus Stucky is not going to be defering as much.

What do you mean? You don't think he would help? A 22/10 big who shoots 50% from the field and has made more FTs than anyone in the league.

He would certainly be a great piece along with Stuckey to start building around.

I'd rather have Bosh also. I feel that if Amare came to us his numbers offensive numbers would drop considerably. He would avg more like 16 or 17 a game and be a sive on defensive. Get Bosh if you can!!!!!!!!
