Man bites dog. It seems Rodney Stuckey has learned how to be a professional from watching Brandon Knight and his 32 games of experience work. http://www.detroitnews.com/article/...having-positive-effect-veteran-Rodney-Stuckey
Stuckey's work ethik never has been a question mark for me. His burden simply was too heavy and many forumites expected him to "fix" all issues with this team. Also, Lawless Frankenstein has finally determined Stuckey's role. Also, stuckey has developed nice 3pt shot and midrange jumers are coming.
I'm really enjoying watching Stuckey play now that we don't depend on him to run the team. He's tough and aggressive. I think that he will be considered a really good defender when he gets some other defenders behind him.
Most of these minutes make a lot of sense to me. I would like to see Macklin thrown out there during meaningful minutes to see what he could do. I don't think the Pistons should give up on Daye, but he hasn't earned 26 mpg right now. What he brings to the table is shooting and right now he can't shoot (30% FG). Like it or not, Ben Gordon brings more to the team today than Daye.
