I dig that two-tone ball. The NBA should switch to that.

Heard at the Spectrum in Philly: Julius EEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRving!

My favorite baller of all time. Loved him in "The Fish that Saved Pittsburgh," too. I would have loved to see a Dr. J/Jordan matchup. I think MJ played better D though.

    Amir's stat line tonight:

    38 Min
    7-13 shooting
    10-10 FT
    7 Reb
    4 PF
    5 TO
    24 PTS

Looks like they had to foul Amir to stop him.

I like it. Looks like he was pretty consistent from the FT line tonight.

Good choices. Me, those are two of my favorites as well, but the Dream tops both.

What's with the Tripucka bashing? Was it the perm? :)

Kelly couldn't play defense, but he was a terrific scorer at a time when we didn't have much else to cheer about. Beautiful jumpshot, great ball fakes and a real knack for getting to the line.

With his overbite and poofy hair, he was kind of like a muscular Napoleon Dynamite. Now who could hate that?

Tripucka wouldn't know defense if you tattooed the word on his forehead.

Samb has missed the last two games for WTC Cornella with tendonitis.

Hopefully Tony Ronzone will be able to report that he has put on another 40 lbs of pure muscle and is running like a gazelle. ;)

    to all those who complain about the weak league Samb is playing in;
Remember Mike James? Not too long before he joined our squad for the '04 ship, he played in Austria. Freaking Austria has probably one of the worst basketball leagues in the world. Ok, his team won the title in the year he played for them, put he didn't exactly tear up the league. He was one of the better ones, but surely not the best.
Still, he seems to be injury- prone and he may still be skinnier than freakin' Tayshaun. I hope he'll change that somehow.

Samb still out, Acker's team is floundering in the playoffs. His coach seems like a real moron.

This getting killed in Europe at sports events is a rather common occurrence. But I think is happens most often at their futball (soccer) games.

Alex Acker's life is about to get a whole lot more interesting. He plays for Olympiacos (the Reds).
