San Antonio Spurs Feb. 19th, 8:00 PM
    TV - TNT
    Radio WDFN 1130

When these teams met in early December the Spurs were looking old, tired and injured. Now they are energized, healthy and holding on to the second seed in the WC. Roger Mason is the new Robert Horry for the Spurs. Keep an eye on him!

I will be in town and at this game...............WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Dunno, Amare hasn't had much success guarding Duncan with his fouls and all, but Amare does have a lot of range and Duncan might not be up to chasing him either.

So who will come off the bench for the Spurs replacing Manu and be Blaha's player of the game:nerner:

I vote either Ime Udoka or George Hill, with Jacque Vaughn having an outside shot, if Pop has been studying our game films and decides to have him and Parker penetrate the paint.

Time for the Pistons to get off the snide, Stuckey and Tay need to step up and Sheed Needs to match Duncan bank shot for bank shot...toe to toe..show the TNT guys you haven't given up, because Kenny will smell a rat if we are just goin thru the motions..

Duncan and Parker combine for 64 points as the Spurs coast to victory.

Sources are now saying that Ginnobli is possibly out for the season. Big blow to the Spurs if true . . .

    edited to add;

I actually think we'll win this game too. Parker will light us up, but Duncan will be fairly controlled. Then again i predict this win based on Amir in the SL. Now i'm not so 100%.

NBA TV is replaying Larry Brown's last playoff victory.... game 6 of the 2005 finals with the Pistons vs Spurs RIGHT NOW.

Those Pistons look better coached than the current ones....Maybe the team is watching this too to see how they can beat the Spurs...

Yep great game...Pistons just won as the D stepped up, the offense clicked and the Pistons closed the game on a 8-0 run winning 95-86.... Larry told his guys in the last huddle "I love you guys"

It would be a little rude to trade away AI. We got him in good faith and he came in, said all the right things, has put forth effort, and although it hasn't worked out well, Joe shouldn't be treating a guy like that poorly. Giving up on him at this point would be pointing the finger at him, when he is what he is. This is not AI's fault at all. We just shouldn't have thought that he'd be a better fit here than Billups was. Joe put MC in, which looks like a bad decision, and then he dealt MC a bad hand by shipping out the team's leader and replacing him with a guy who overlaps with Rip. So in terms of class, I believe Joe is doing the right thing by letting AI be.

Should he have traded Sheed or others? Maybe, but it sounds like other teams were asking for a lot.

    Time to take our medicine.

Part of me would have liked to have seen Sheed traded to the Spurs.

He can still sign with them this summer, which is why I think Sheed will be motivated today and try to impress Pop.

Hey, at least that's my only hope for tonight.

I hope AI doesn't catch a cold from the wind of Parker whizzing by him every posession.

Amir Johnson - saviour of pistons is going to defeat spurs tonight :)

How the hell people couldn't understand that he is the best big man in the league. I'm surprised.

another sign how the mighty piston fans have fallen......We have fans? saying 'Yay. a star is out. We might WIN?"

I remembered when this forum used to MOCK players for sitting OUT when we came to town!!!

With Manu out, we will lose...still..bcuz Popo can start his bench and still beat Curry.

    sad people...sad

    Toast to Barbra San Antone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
