Sheed needs a change of scenery to motivate. I would expect him to have a great year with the Magic.

Wasn't he fired from Houston after not teaching Yao anything?

What can Sheed teach him? Honestly, it's been at least 3 years since Sheed even ventured into the post (and no, faceup jumpers and fadeaways in the post don't count)... how do we know he even has any moves? :sssh:

I would not want to play against a renewed Sheed and Dwight Howard. Sheed's biggest weakness is his tendency to settle for 3's... which actually works right into Orlando's offense. On defense, nobody would be scoring from the post against these 2 and guards would have a tough time finishing as well. Sheed would be stripping and playing D without fouling while Dwight would be blocking everything up to the top of the backboard.

    Nelson
    Lewis/ Redick
    Carter/ Pietrus
    Sheed
    Howard

This could be the best lineup in the league with the many of the guys having NBA Finals experience and confidence.

Howard will come back hungrier and with a better understanding for what he needs to work on to play Championship basketball.

    I'm frightened.

Sheed can practically shut him down. His knowledge on defense would make Howard so much better.

I think he still knows how to post up even if the last time he did it was in 1993 LOL

That's a championship team IMO. Althoughi'm hesitant to say that w/ Carter instead of Turkey, but still scary as hell.

    Sheed the new John Wayne?

As free agent period begins, Kidd, Bass are front, center | Mavericks/NBA | Star-Telegram.com

    Sheed doing the Texas two-step?

Spurs & Dallas? Looks like Sheeds gonna make the most of his FA opportunity. Though with money scarce to have his pick of teams he better pick quick. No one can afford to sit on their hands waiting for too long without missing out on others in a scant market.

Sheed & Duncan or Sheed & Dwight?

If he goes to the Spurs will Dyess sign with Dallas?

    Rockets may want McDyess
