I don't care what you guys say or what language you say it in, if Sheed came back to Detroit I would be whooping and holloring all over the place.

You know I was actually thinking that. A small little #36 jersey on my left side somewhere. The two tatoo's I do have are both on my right. I think I may need to balance it out some. What do you think? Or maybe a quote like "ball don't lie".

"ball bon't lie" goes to your balls, of course.

Seriously talking, you have to make up your mind wheter you want your tatoo as "public" or "private".

and tattoo has to strike!, all those long phrases are for the nerds, so to speak.

and third - better be ready that tattoos are for lifetime - from some areas "deleting " is extremely painful process.

Like tatoos "I love roscoe" but you're married with Darth Tater - embarrassing, isn't it?

Ok, you can divorce from Darth Tater and to marry with roscoe but is one tattoo worth of it???

Yeah, you're right. It is a lifetime thing. I wouldn't want to be defending myself when I'm a old hag and explaining what the hell my tatoo's mean. My Eagle tatoo is about 10 years old, have never ever regretted getting it. It only shows when I wear shorts, so summer only. My Piston tatoo is only about 3 weeks old, still brand new, on my foot so I can look down and admire it any time of the day I want. Summer also, flip flop weather. Do not expect to have any regrets on that one either, put ALOT of thought into it. IF I do get another, and believe me its a big if, I would really have to do some serious pondering if you know what I mean.

Be sure to wave that foot at the next game you attend a game at the Palace and one of the cameramen will spot it and your toes/tattoo will get the exposure it deserves!!

Oh my bad, pardon me for I'm always late ( no pun intended).
I can read every each Chinese word by Nemo as well as every word in related post by Coynejeremy but all are difficult to be understood as a whole like my English writings at best. :)

By no means a Sheed fan but as a general rule when an established vet is willing to sign for the min and you still think he can play then its very tempting and worth exploring. Because you are not married to him - can just cut and run if things are not working out.

I would be surprised though if Sheed had any kind of loyalty for any team he has played on. If he did come back he would probably go to Miami.

I think that a BallDon'tLie tattoo is a good idea Susie.

If the Pistons were contenders or on the verge of being contenders, I'd say heck yeah, sign Sheed! We could use a defensive big and some swagger fosho!

We're not contenders though and won't be for a couple of years. I'm not really down for signing or trading for anybody who won't:
    1. Be part of the future.
    2. Help the "part of the future" guys grow (i.e. Ben Wallace)
    3. Be a valuable asset that can be traded to get guys that can be part of the future.

I'd be OK with everyone's favorite punching bag coming back. Even if it's unlikely.

And with these comments this thread should be closed along with hopes of those NeedforSheed diehards of him coming back to Motown. He got his one "ship" and his effort dropped 5% each year afterwards. He may have upped it last year a couple of points playing with the Celtics, but that desire is long gone IMO as he wants to be family man now as should all 35 year olds who have save their cash as 15-16 years of running up and down the court in arenas all over the USA and Canada.
