I doubt the Zero Tolerance policy affects Sheed's attitude toward officials. Sheed has received 257 technicals in his career. It's probably safe to say he knows what is not allowed. He pushes the officials to the edge, and then when he is feeling selfish, he pushes a little bit further.

I'm glad Sheed is a Piston, but getting technicals to the point where it will hurt your team (game suspensions) is purely selfish.

Is it safe to say that Sheed plays better when he's "misbehaving"? His best stats were during 2000 & 01, the years I believe he was an all-star with Portland.

From his off the court charity work to his on court play, there is one word that is hard to associate with Rasheed Wallace, and that is selfishness.

We'll have to agree to disagree.

I think the zero tolerance hurt him early in the season when he picked up quite a few before the refs relaxed a bit on it.

He had used up 1/4 of his quota in the first 4 games. And he has only picked up 3 in his last 12 games, 1 of which was rescinded. Hopefully he can keep this trend going southward.

I made a graph anyway of his tech's this season. This is gross tech's, which includes the rescinded ones, hence why the total is 16. Enjoy!

You just need to rotate your monitor 90 degrees clockwise and then look at that reflection of the monitor in a mirror.

    So much for my paranoia.

    My bad.

Needless to say this is one time I am glad that I was incorrect in my paranoid conspiracy theory. LOL

Every two Ts after 16 cost him an additional game's suspension. That is a lot of bucks. 1/82 of his salary for every two additional Ts starting with number 16. I would expect them to slow down, notwithstanding my paranoia conspiracy thinking. LOL

I'm not exactly sure how that would work, but I bet it smarts a right amount.
